Giant Gingerbread House Lighting Thursday
It's almost time to light the giant gingerbread house, and you're invited! Gingerbread Jim has baked a 10ft confectionary creation that's even bigger and better than last year's seen here. Join us Thursday night at 6PM in the Seaglass lobby for the unveiling of New England's largest gingerbread house, sponsored by Gienapp Architects. Enjoy cocoa, cookies and a holiday sing-a-long as we count down to the illumination, with the help of our festival elves and the Boys & Girls Club of Lower Merrimack Valley. Gingerbread House Lighting
Tonight we lit the Giant Gingerbread House, created by "Gingerbread Jim" Shalkoski and sponsored by Gienapp Design. So now the holiday season has officially started! See it on display in the Seaglass lobby during the 6th Annual SeaFestival of Trees, which starts Saturday!
We took down the giant gingerbread house last night. Here’s a closer look at the working carousel that was inside in case you missed it. The 9' gingerbread castle and carousel were costructed by Seaglass manager "Gingerbread Jim" Shalkoski. Proceeds from this year’s Sea Festival of Trees go to the Salisbury Beach Partnership, Inc. fund to bring back the historic carousel. 🎠
