HAPPY HALLOWEEN!!!! Since so many of you are are getting to know me for the first time, Halloween is my JAM!!! They wait all year long for September and October to roll around, not only are the flowers of fall full of Rich, deep and dramatic tones, but it is also the time of year that I get to truly reset and catch my breath for a minute. Beside the fact that Halloween is effing awesome! I am expecting lots of pictures of great costumes!

Today is the perfect day to send flowers to your favorite Halloween lover! There is one in every family 😉. I have an assortment of beautiful blooms that are ready to be received and enjoyed by you or any of your favorite people! Give me a call and let's get an order put in for you today before delivery slots fill up!

There are still a few available spaces for the November and December design classes. Grab a friend, grab your mom, grab a tinder date or just come by yourself. These spots filled up pretty fast on the last class so I would suggest you get all your ducks in the pond because The centerpiece class I have planned for November is going to be amazing! I have put in an order for some of my absolute favorite flowers to work with coming from far away lands like Ecuador and Chile, and... Morgan UT haha!Don't wait!

Continuing on with the success that we have had with our ever-growing wedding side of the business, my books for the summer, believe it or not are feeling up fast! Wedding slots are a precious commodity as we all hope we will only do it one time. So let's make this one count and make it absolutely special, unique to you, and something that will leave everybody talking for years to come.

Finally, if you have made it this far, I have a few thoughts for you. First of all, thank you for taking the time to read my wordy morning excitements! People who really do the homework and read all of the reading.... I feel.... Deserve a raise, a warm hug, and at least a 4 and 1/2 minute massage from a stranger... But like a stranger that you trust for a massage, not just a random person 😉.

Hi! I'm Drake and I am a 4th generation florist in Salt Lake City Utah. When I say that October has pulled through and done for me what it always does for me, believe you me... That is no exaggeration! My wedding schedule is ALREADY filling fast for 2025! I'd suggest not waiting 😉.

Have you heard about our SUBSCRIPTION SERVICES? Subscription services are completely customized to your needs. You will pay a flat rate monthly which will include delivery and you can even adjust the dates to accommodate a birthday , anniversary, new baby ... Even winning third and a half place at the local pinochle tournament! It is a month-by-month service so you get to cancel whenever you want! This is also a limited spot situation for quality control. Reach out and let's get you in before that fills up for the next year as well.

There are still a few spots for the November and December design classes. December is about to go on a waiting list so I would suggest getting all your ducks and friends in a row and getting yourself registered! The last design class we did was so much fun and everyone that came absolutely raved about it! The dates for these classes will be November 26th at 6:00 p.m. and December 20th at 6:00 p.m. whether you are wanting to dip your toes into the world of Floral design, brush up on some existing skills or just have a fun night out with friends, these classes are an absolute must! These classes are a flex class, so anybody with any experience is more than welcome and will still take plenty away.

WHAT A WILD WEEK!!! In all the best ways I promise 😉. For those of you that have been living at the bottom of the ocean (or just otherwise occupied with children, families, life... Work... Underwater whistling...), my Fall/ Halloween floral design class was a HUGE success!!! I had 5 people reach out within 12 hours after class was over asking about more! So, I'm giving you more!

My November class will be MONDAY NOVEMBER 25. Your centerpiece will be the reason everyone will be fighting to sit at the grown-up table for Thanksgiving 💜. In this class I'll be covering the tips, tricks and guidelines for the perfect centerpieces. The blooms available for November never disappoint! The deep reds and warm gold tones will have you singing! This will be a Flex class which means ALL LEVELS OF EXPERIENCE are going to benefit! This class has 4 SPOTS LEFT and my message alert literally just went off 🥰

DECEMBER DESIGN CLASS DATE has been set for DECEMBER 20. Family or friends coming home for the holiday? Make a night out of it! THIS CLASS IS ALREADY MORE THAN HALFWAY FULL! In this class, we will be up to our happiest heart's in boughs of evergreens, the FABULOUSLY robust blooms that winter provides us and the best company you can find! I can smell the pine right now ❤️❤️❤️. The exact project we're going to be working on is TBD at this point but rest assured... It's going to be AMAZING!

Teaching and education give me life! I coached and taught kids (and grown ups) for a little over 20 years. I am so excited that by popular demand, I am able and sooo excited to add these 2 dates. A waiting list will be started for future classes and/or in case of cancellations.

These classes are 18+ and are held at . Class begins at 6 and goes until... I say so but plan for 830-9. I'm so glad you have read this far. It really lets me know that you're a real stand up kinda person 🥰

OFFICIALLY THE BEST NIGHT I HAVE HAD THIS SUMMER!!! What an INCREDIBLE night with some AMAZINGLY TALENTED People!!! I was not expecting everyone to do so well! So much fun was had by EVERYONE and what a treat it was for me to have this class sell out so FAST!

DID YOU MISS THIS? Well first of all, my apologies... I'd say you didn't miss out but that would make me an un-truther. DON'T WORRY, THERE'S ANOTHER CHANCE!!! Because of how well this rolled out, I already had people asking for the next class ( Yes literally as soon as I got home and I 🥰 am thrilled).

There is already a waiting list started for November and December classes! November blooms are some of my favorite things. The bold and full colors from deep burgundy to a hearty rust... Beautifully contrasted by a golden pop of yellow ..... There I go again 😉. For November we will be talking CENTERPIECES! You're going to give people something to talk about and a reason to fight for a spot at "the fancy table".

December blooms are equally as gratifying and beautiful. Something about the calm yet vivid beauty the winter blossoms bring. Everything from Peonies to Stars of Bethlehem flower... Graced with draping evergreens and the smell of fresh pine... You can smell it to right... RIGHT?

Dates for these classes will be up in the next few days.

I am so grateful for everyone who came tonight and helped make this happen! The next one is going to be epic!!! There are a few people that I couldn't find to tag on here! Help!

Absolutely in LOVE with desk set I did for !!! I am so looking forward to a FULL Design class tonight!!! I will be hosting more design classes throughout the holidays!
A fall/ Thanksgiving centerpiece class that will walk you through the best ways learning all the tips and tricks to create and take home your own beautiful centerpiece where you're going to find the neighbors whispering a sneaking pictures of your INCREDIBLE mood setter!
This is a flex class so any level of experience from none to "Why did I sign up for this?" will get something out of it. These nights are PERFECT DATE NIGHTS, girls night, guys night, bring your Mom, brush up on your existing floral skills and get inspired! Classes are 18+ due to the sharp tools we use. You'll have full access to my brain and any flower knowledge in it😉. I have a lifetime of experience and letters behind my name that say "He really went the extra mile"-
There will also be a Christmas/Winter design class. What a MAGICAL time of year in the world of flowers! The winter blooms in deep burgundy complimented by beautiful draping evergreens... I can smell it... Can you?
Dates for these events will be announced soon but it's NEVER TO EARLY TO GET ON THE LIST! The waiting last has already begun and these classes will fill up fast so don't wait! As always my amazing flower friends...

Hi Flower Friends!
I was told it's time for a re-introduction... (I'm not sure if that's a word... Sure it is).
My name is Drake. I am the owner and operator of The Fairy God Florist. Located in Salt Lake City Utah ( I swore my whole life I would never live in Utah let alone Salt Lake City but I am going on 7.5 years and I love it here 🥰.

I outgrew the part of Idaho where you have all 4 seasons and each one brings it's own beauty. The West Yellowstone, Jackson Hole and Island Park areas were my back yard growing up.

Flowers are my passion. They consume my soul. It all started in the late 1920s with my great grandparents growing tomatoes to feed their family through the Great Depression but it quickly transformed into a full blown flower shop in no time. So nearly 100 years, 4 generations of flowers and a lot of hands on experience, I proudly carry the torch 🥰. My wish is for everyone to understand and appreciate the miracles of flowers. I want people to know and love flowers the way that I do 💜

It wasn't always flowers though... I was heavily involved in the competitive cheerleading world for over 20 years, I bartended for 14, I have been a professional cheerleader and dancer and even a professional merman 🧜.

I'm an open book. Let's get to know each other if we don't already and if we do, let's catch up! I offer design classes often (There's an open spot for Tuesday OCTOBER 22 DM me for details) and run a full service flower shop. I'm always down to talk flowers 💜

Come join me for my 🍂 FALL FLORAL DESIGN CLASS!!!! Tuesday, OCTOBER 22 FROM 6 TO 8:30 -ish...😉 Class cost is $100.00 per person and will be held at The Hive SLC. This is an 18 and up class.
I'm so excited to be offering floral design classes again! We will have a fantastic night learning the basics of floral design and you will make and take your own fall and or Halloween 🎃 arrangement to take home with you! You can send me a direct message here and we will get you registered! Spots are already filling up and I am only taking a limited amount of people to give everyone the best attention for the class. We will be working with some of the best quality fall blooms that are available. Bring a date, bring your friends, bring your mom! You will a detailed hands on instruction on a fall and/or Halloween arrangement for you to take home! Spots are limited and will fill up fast! Class cost is 100.00. This is an 18 and up event.
