Spent hours and hours searching for music this week, and I've finally got a good playlist of tracks ready in honor of those who have passed on, including my dad. ❤️ This set will definitely be my most Emotional EDM set I've ever played with a mix of downtempo bass, liquid dnb, progressive melodic house, trance, and Melodic Dub. Got my next gig coming up in about two weeks! Saturday November 2nd, Day of the Dead (Día de Los Mu***os) at Shades Brewing in South Salt Lake. Thanks to Bass Summit for inviting me out! I'll be playing something a little different and very special this time. In light of my dad's recent passing, I will be playing a unique set of music in honor of those no longer with us on this Earth. Downtempo bass, Melodic dubstep, Trance, and Deep progressive house. Really looking forward to this one. It's a few days after Halloween, but you get to dress up again in your best Day of the Dead attire! Open decks 7-9pm, bring your USB. There will also be face painting, tacos, and a large open paint graffiti canvas! Come celebrate with us!

After 4 years of DJing I can proudly say I've been practicing a lot of unique tricks on my controller this year and I've finally learned how to mix out of key but to where it still sounds good based on phrasing and cue points, and also mix in half time, quarter time and even one-third time in bpm. Super proud of this cuz math is NOT my strong suit. May not seem like a big deal, but as an EDM Open Format DJ I usually play anywhere from 5 to 10 different geners in an hour set, so this opens so many doors for me in being able to freestyle between multiple genres much easier. Really looking forward to playing b2b with my amazing boyfriend George Colorado tomorrow night at Evolution. He's able to do this while DJing as well and it's going to be so fun. I went hella digging the last couple weeks and found some FIRE tracks for y'all and you know he's ALWAYS got the good good as well. Don't miss our set on the Sunset Oasis Stage from 8-9pm Friday night.

I freaking did it! My Ecstatic Dance set from EPW made it to 1000 plays and 82 likes in a month! It may not sound like that big of a deal, but to break 1000 plays on just a mix on Soundcloud is a big deal and this is the first time it's happened for me. I've been DJing for 4 years now and started with Ecstatic, so this is such a huge accomplishment for me. I feel confident enough now to start contacting out-of-state ecstatic promoters, wish me luck! 🤞 Thank you to all of my friends, fans, and followers that have supported me over the years in my DJ journey. If you didn't attend Temple Step Project at the Krishna Temple Ecstatic dance tonight.... YOU 👏MISSED👏OUT!!! That was hands down both THE best EDM set I have ever seen and the most healing Ecstatic dance I have ever danced to. WOW what an inspiration!!! Next Wednesday June 5th, I make my Utah Valley Ecstatic Dance debut! I grew up in this valley, so I'm excited to bring a journey of sound to the place of my roots 💃🧚‍♀️🍄🎵🎧💜 if you live near Provo come dance, or if you have friends down that way send them an invite! If you're feeling out of touch, this is a great way to shake the s**t off and remind yourself who you are. Experience EDM in a new and different environment, one that is safe, healthy, and intentional.

If you've never attended an Ecstatic Dance, I invite you to come discover a beautifully healing experience. It is a 2 hour journey of multiple genres of EDM that take you through 7 stages: Arrival, Awakening, Building, Cruising, Climax, Landing, and Integration. The space is sober, so you really get a chance to connect with the music in your authentic emotions. There is no talking, no cellphones, and no shoes, a chance to disconnect from it all and ground yourself. Touching is consensual, some people participate in contact improv, but most people dance alone. The evening starts at 7pm with cacao and opening circle, Ecstatic from 7:30-9:30pm, and then a sound bath after with closing circle at the end. Entry is 20 for adults and 5 for kids under 13. If you are experiencing financial hardship but would like to attend, reach out to Ecstatic Dance Utah Valley for volunteer opportunities.
