My first booking of 2025 is very near and dear to my heart. I will be playing at a fundraiser for the Nomad Alliance Friday ran by my best friend/roommate/basically my sister Kseniya Kniazeva. She and her crew of volunteers work countless hours, night and day, to provide basic needs for those that have little to none purely out of the goodness of her heart and determination to make this world a better place for humanity. If you love your warm home, cozy bed, nice clothes, and good meals, please come donate a little from your pocket to provide these things to our homeless community in SLC. Come dance and warm up those winter blues to this fire 🔥 lineup of local DJs. Friday January 17th 6-12pm at Everyday Convenience on 973 west north temple.

Also, if you have any winter clothing, bedding, camping gear, or food you would like to donate for the next supply drive this Sunday January 12th, please contact Kseniya or Nomad Alliance on FB or Instagram to coordinate pick up or drop off for these items

"For Our Angels"

I created this Melodic mix for Día de los Mu***os-Day of the Dead last month in honor of my father, who recently passed in October from cancer. It's also dedicated to many others close to me that I've lost: my sister Steph, my daughter's father Nick, my best friend April, my late boyfriend Fritz, my friend Kira, my past 6th grade student i taught Cody, and my past student Grey that I counseled, who passed a few weeks ago.

I forgot to post this set to Soundcloud after I played it, I think it was just a lot for me tbh. But in light of the recent passing of our SLC Ecstatic Dance community member Able, and also DJ illoom's daughter Grey, who was one of my students I counseled in 2020 and was very close with, I felt inspired to share this set with you guys tonight. I attended Grey's celebration of life yesterday, and sat at the Alter at E dance today for Able. Grief definitely is a strange thing, you never really "heal" or "move on", it comes in waves.💔

It's not a 2 hour Ecstatic set, but definitely has a similar flow. (This not my ecstatic set from Wednesday, i'll be posting that soon, after some polishing). I hope it brings some healing for any of you experiencing grief right now.

It's about to pop off!!! Come support a great cause at the annual Nomad Alliance fundraiser. We got a phenomenal lineup of some of the best local EDM DJs throwing down. Come dance and donate! All proceeds are used to aid the homeless community in the cold months during this nonprofit's monthly supply drives and to keep the bus stocked that is out every day providing shelter, food, and warmth for those that have none. Spent hours and hours searching for music this week, and I've finally got a good playlist of tracks ready in honor of those who have passed on, including my dad. ❤️ This set will definitely be my most Emotional EDM set I've ever played with a mix of downtempo bass, liquid dnb, progressive melodic house, trance, and Melodic Dub. Got my next gig coming up in about two weeks! Saturday November 2nd, Day of the Dead (Día de Los Mu***os) at Shades Brewing in South Salt Lake. Thanks to Bass Summit for inviting me out! I'll be playing something a little different and very special this time. In light of my dad's recent passing, I will be playing a unique set of music in honor of those no longer with us on this Earth. Downtempo bass, Melodic dubstep, Trance, and Deep progressive house. Really looking forward to this one. It's a few days after Halloween, but you get to dress up again in your best Day of the Dead attire! Open decks 7-9pm, bring your USB. There will also be face painting, tacos, and a large open paint graffiti canvas! Come celebrate with us!

After 4 years of DJing I can proudly say I've been practicing a lot of unique tricks on my controller this year and I've finally learned how to mix out of key but to where it still sounds good based on phrasing and cue points, and also mix in half time, quarter time and even one-third time in bpm. Super proud of this cuz math is NOT my strong suit. May not seem like a big deal, but as an EDM Open Format DJ I usually play anywhere from 5 to 10 different geners in an hour set, so this opens so many doors for me in being able to freestyle between multiple genres much easier. Really looking forward to playing b2b with my amazing boyfriend George Colorado tomorrow night at Evolution. He's able to do this while DJing as well and it's going to be so fun. I went hella digging the last couple weeks and found some FIRE tracks for y'all and you know he's ALWAYS got the good good as well. Don't miss our set on the Sunset Oasis Stage from 8-9pm Friday night.
