We have made the tough decision to step back from Heirloom and Time. We will always prioritize our family, and Saturdays and evenings away from our kiddos just feels like too big of an ask in this season. Sean is devoted to his full-time role within his commercial videography company, and it’s not sustainable for him to continue to manage those two separate workloads.
As for me, I feel the need to have more time and space to devote to my creative pursuits that have been on the back burner for a while.

Our passion for art and storytelling aren’t going anywhere, and we’re excited to see what doors will open when we are willing to let something we love go, at least for now.

If you already have something booked with us, nothing has changed. We’ll still show up and rock it out 💪🏼. If you are a recent client that is waiting on your edited photos or videos, we will have all of those finished within the next couple weeks!

If you have been our client in the past or have supported us, you guys are amazing. We are so blessed to know y’all and to have walked through some of life’s biggest seasons with you.

There are so many words I could say about motherhood.

Refining, rewarding, constant, overwhelming, beautiful, fun. Some moments I feel like I’m so good at this gig, and the next moment I feel like I’m clueless. My prayer used to be “Help me be a better mom,” but now my prayer is “Lord, help me love them well”. Because it’s not about me or my achievement. They are eternal beings and they are valuable not for what they contribute, but because they are made in the image of God. They are lovely, wild, tree-climbing, living-room-ballet-performing little women. They are complex and funny and smart.

I’m so honored to raise these beautiful little souls. I love my little women. Whether you are a mom of children, or adults, or children in Heaven, Happy Mother’s Day 🤍

Rain drops, heavy and wet, fell from the sky as we climbed up the mountain. Sweat and rain water dripped down my nose as we crossed fallen logs, past trees covered in squishy green moss, and through the quiet stillness of a secluded hiking trail on a cold, wet day. At last, we made it to the summit, snacks were handed out, logs were sat upon, water was had, and we allowed ourselves a moment to rest, one with the rain and the living things in the forest.

The drizzle slowed and came to a stop, as if inviting Caitlyn and Sam to share the words that would make them husband and wife. Vow books in hand, and a quick game of “rock, paper, scissors” down, Sam and Caitlyn shared their vows with each other. The sound of the river rushed below us, and time stood still as we watched this sacred moment unfold.

We hope your elopement day was everything you dreamed it would be. Thanks for letting us share such a special moment with you two. 🩶

Nancy brought along the Bible given to her by her grandmother. The verse written upon her heart highlighted long ago by someone else’s careful hand. It was Ruth 1:16: ”But Ruth replied, “Don’t ask me to leave you and turn back. Wherever you go, I will go; wherever you live, I will live. Your people will be my people, and your God will be my God.“

Nancy and Michael read and prayed together, talking about their pasts and their plans for their marriage. During their engagement session, there were moments so precious our eyes welled up with tears, and other moments where we laughed, out of breath, stumbling up and down sand dunes.

Nancy and Michael, we can’t wait to see what your future together holds. Thanks for letting us be a small part of this journey. ❤️

When I saw working away on roasted grapes and honey pecan bree and the most beautiful shrimp you’ve ever seen, she looked straight out of a Magnolia Network show, and I knew I HAD to snap a few pics of her and her work. BABY HANDS, Y’ALL. On another note, we went to my mom’s house this afternoon and came back with a kitten and three new hens. Just give me a jersey cow and call me Farmer Ann 👩🏻‍🌾. Should I introduce them to y’all tomorrow?
