Outside alterations accepted if time allows. Experienced from simple hems to beaded formals & lace wedding dresses . HISTORY: Established in 1952 as one of the first tenants of The Village Shopping Center by Elward & Charlotte Jackson. Starting as a very small sewing machine sales & repair business, they expanded five times within The Village, adding more departments & options each time for customers, until finally a large department store. Upon retirement in 1983, daughter, Shireen Jackson, who had been active in the business, continued the business in the smaller, current location, 2418 W. Ave. N, across from Angelo State University. As of May, 2018, Jacksons will begin 66 years of family owned & operated business!
