Let us start with the good! Every encounter we had with JDF was beyond phenomenal. He carried an energy about himself that lit up the room! He treated his fans great and our staff just as well if not better. Our last memory with Jason happened here at Hub City Comic Con.

In June, pre booked flights began canceling. Jason would rebook and it would cancel again. Finally, Thursday before the show came and his 3rd rebooked flight...canceled. Refusing to quit and cancel the appearance (which based on the hardships and other signings would have been justified) he refused to let the fans in Lubbock down. He booked a flight to Midland 120 miles away, rented a vehicle, and drove to Lubbock Friday morning. Even through all of that, he walked in just as energized as always, not letting the anyone see the obstacles he went through just to get there and greeted everyone with a smile.

We as fans, will never forget you. Thank you for bringing to life the characters we adored as kids and being a figure we could respect as adults. Rest easy JDF, we love you always!💚🤍

Jason Douglas is best known as the English voices of 'Beerus the Destroyer' in DRAGON
BALL SUPER and gamer-favorite ‘Krieg the Psycho’ in the perennial Gearbox hit
BORDERLANDS 2 and the just-released BORDERLANDS 3.
Jason is also recognized for his four seasons as Alexandrian everyman ‘Tobin’ on
AMC's THE WALKING DEAD, concluding with with one of the show’s most terrifying
walker-turns. He’s also appeared on AMC as ‘SATAN’ in their other hit comic adaptation
PREACHER, and earlier this year, played attorney Nick Marshall in the FREEFORM
