Last week, I had the honor of attending the Equality Texas Mayoral Forum — not just as a candidate, but as a proud ally of our LGBTQ+ community. I showed up because I believe in showing up. No one deserves to be ignored, especially those whose voices have so often been pushed to the margins.
The event was hosted by the fabulous Lind-Z Andrews — who many of you know as the radiant star of Paramour’s drag brunch (yes, that’s our Paramour 💖). It was a powerful reminder that when we lead with love and authenticity, we all rise.
I’d love to keep the conversation going. Join me for a special Candidate Meet & Greet at Paramour on April 2nd from 6:30–8:30 PM. Let’s connect, celebrate community, and talk about the future we’re building together in District 1.
