Intercontinental Hotel San Antonio: if you are into “good eats”, and I mean good eats- then you need to try the newly renovated Intercontinental Hotel in San Antonio. This great food can be food at a wedding, a corporate event and/or at their Cavalier restaurant.
I was honored to be invited to this Chef’s tasting tonight.
Great food, drink and fellowship was had by all.

I love, love sculptured cakes!!!❤️❤️❤️
This cake is featured on “Cakes Rock” in Austin - website. They made this fabulous cake for our couple a few years back.
It was so pretty - sugar was definitely art.
We had the cake on a mirrored table/ so the world of Chihuly surrounded us .

Baby shower: Did you know we do all sorts of parties? Recently we did a baby shower at Tapatio Springs.
Tomas, with the Painted Cake, knocked it out of the park with his teddy bear sculptured cake.
Teddy was so cute- we didn’t have the heart to cut him that night.

Dominion Country Club: Wendi & Adrian had a beautiful wedding at the Dominion CC in October. The club has great architecture, which makes for great pictures.
Of course, a great photographer like also helps.😀
In addition, the family dog participated as a “pup of honor”.

I just dealt with buttons and jackets this weekend! It is so very important to button your jacket for pictures!!

Wedding Tip: History of how to properly button a suit. Leaving the bottom button undone allowed for ease of movement and comfort when sitting down. Over time, this became the standard way to button a suit jacket and has remained so to this day. In the mid-20th century, the two-button jacket became the dominant style, and it remains so today.

I had a couple ( a few years back) that had these streamer cannons for departure. It really looks funny to the by/stander- but just how fun is it for the bride and groom????? I nearly had to cut my couple out of the streamers for they wrap around the coupke( quite tightly). What ya think??
