The new Intercontinental Hotels & Resorts opened Aug.1st. What a beautiful foyer - and even a coffee shop! I am excited that a luxury hotel is within a short walk along the river to the SW School of Art( UTSA SW Campus).

Devils River Whiskey Distillery- a great place for a rehearsal dinner in downtown SA. Ashley & Rafe had guest mingle upstairs for a short bit. Then, we went downstairs for dinner.

The Preserve at Canyon Lake is a beautiful back drop for all design styles. The spiral stairs to the bridal suite is quite beautiful laden with Merveille Events flowers. The Painted Cake made a pretty brides cake and a ducky grooms cake.

Details, details and details: there were so many fabulous, tried & true, vendors on Saturday at Jaycie & Luke’s fabulous wedding at the Preserve at Canyon Lake. Please look at the dance floor with monogram , the stage, the stage front and so much more. Every detail was covered.❤️

The Preserve at Canyon Lake has a balcony where the bride can look down on the ceremony site. She can see all her guests— and soak it all in:)

Jaycie & Luke had a beautiful wedding yesterday .
Merveille Floral did a great job on the broken asymmetrical altar arch. The size is in proportion to the huge windows.

Pullman Market at the Pearl: had a meeting today at this new treasure of a market at the Pearl.
They have a Mexican restaurant, a soon to be Pizzeria, a burger shop, vegetables , great fresh breads ( I bought a loaf of real sourdough bread), and so much more!! You should check it out!! No more driving to HEB central market when the bride needs something😀

St. Joseph Catholic Church- San Antonio.
If you are interested in Catholic Church, downtown SA- that lets non-members marry there- St. Joseph’s is a beautiful church with a ton of history plus great architecture.

It warms my heart to receive a thank you note❤️
We did Kelly & JD’s ranch wedding about 6 weeks ago. So much went into week of preparation. We even had my husband, Steve- helping out. We moved furniture, set up Adirondack chairs, stacked firewood, and so, so much more. We worked 3 days straight in preparation. So glad, bride, Kelly, was happy.

Fiesta began in 1891 when a group of citizens decided to honor the heroes of the Alamo and Battle of San Jacinto with a Battle of Flowers parade. And beginning in 1925, The Daughters of The Republic of Texas began The Pilgrimage to the Alamo which is a memorial tribute to the Alamo heroes and the heritage of Texas.

At the Pilgrimage today, you'll find Dame Di-Anna Arias who is a direct descendant of Edward Morris Tanner who fought in the Battle of San Jacinto 1836. As a board member for The Daughters of The Republic of Texas, Di-Anna is passionate about perpetuating Texas history and invites everyone to join in the event to honor the heroes of The Alamo. Thanks for all you do for San Antonio and the great state of Texas, Dame Di-Anna!

San Antonio Botanical Gardens (SABOT) weddings are so beautiful! My back yard couldn’t match the beauty of our local gardens.
Jenna did a stunning wedding there. The ceremony faced the gazebo. Blume Haus Floral provided extraordinary flowers.
