Hello everyone!!
We hope y'all are hanging in there!! We REALLY REALLY miss hosting parties & seeing the ear to ear smiles of your children. My lovely lady, Felisa & I pray things will turn around soon but things aren't looking too great right now. That being said we want to let everyone know there's a bit 🤏 of a problem.
Fun Zone might have to close the doors soon due to the issue at hand, COVID-19. We will be opting out of our 5yr contract as we can't afford the lease, bank bills, dumpster bill, insurance, ect.. I had to give a 6 month notice. So, September may be the last month of business, maybe sooner if we can't come up with the lease. We haven't had any revenue come in since March 15th (our last party we hosted) due to the mandatory closure.
I've tried all available resources. Applied for the SBA loans & haven't had any luck due to the available funds running out extremely fast
& I can't qualify for a bank loan, due to Fun Zone not operating.
I've (Ricky) been in contact with many guest's who have postponed (thank you soooo much💞) & guest's who have requested a refund.
Unfortunately we can not refund monies at this time. Lord knows we want to, but we can't. It's not our intentions to keep our guest's money without providing our services! Quarterly taxes had been paid & yearly taxes had been paid. We're really on a sinking ship that is holding on for dear life.
Everyone who has had a party with us knows we're truthful, wholehearted human beings.
We give our 100% every party & truly care about your children having a wonderful experience venue.
If we end up closing our doors for good, everyone who has canceled WILL get their deposits returned! As I mentioned earlier, it's not our intentions to pocket anyone's monies without providing our services! That's not the type of people we are. We've had only ONE guest that decided to hate my guts because I couldn't return their deposit & again I'm truly sorry.
In the 3yrs since I opened Fun Zone, I have not paid myself one cent! I've NEVER written myself a check to deposit into my personal account! Lord knows that! Everything we've earned I've put back into the business to make it BETTER! I don't need to put this out there but I am so that person understands we're not sitting on top of a mountain of money. If I was, it wouldn't be an issue returning deposits back during these challenging times.
We're not asking for sympathy, I'm just letting it be known the majority of us are in the same boat.
Lastly, which is very good news, we may be able to open our doors next Friday to start hosting parties!!❤❤
Honestly, we can't wait!! We've ALWAYS had a clean venue! Sanitation is nothing new to us! We ALWAYS cleaned everything with lysol because your kiddos are our number 1 priority. We will post new guidelines within the next week. We love everyone!! Please continue to abide by the guidelines to keep you & your family healthy!!
