What element of the wedding exceeded your expectations?
The whole setup of the venue and how beautiful it turned out to be. Also, the ceremony as well because the original officiant of our wedding fell ill just one week prior to our wedding and could not perform the ceremony. Our wedding planner contacted a pastor she knew last minute. He met up with us and made the ceremony feel very special and personal, everyone loved it. Thanks Pastor Joseph Flores.

Pastor Joseph Flores was awesome! We knew from our first meeting with Joseph that he was going to do his best to conduct a memorable ceremony. He did not disappoint! Joseph did a great job really trying to get to know us. You can tell he really loves what he does. He customizes the wedding ceremony to the way you want it. The ceremony went flawlessly and he kept everyone engaged. It was everything we wanted and more.

Joseph was absolutely perfect! From the first moment we met Joseph, we knew we had the right one. He took the time to get to know us as a couple and made our ceremony personalized for us. He also injected humor into our ceremony which we appreciated. Just an all around wonderful experience!

From a professional wedding consultant's view point, I thought the ceremony ran very smoothly, your speech was very articulated and was made very personal to the bride and groom. I loved that you included details the bride and groom's family could reference to, or would know what you speaking about which really told the couples' story. My favorite part of the ceremony was the hand ceremony. I had never heard a minister/officiate speak so genuinely about the hands the other was holding. Your professionalism really shined through when the family was taking pictures and you stayed to participate in photos for the couple. it was truly a pleasure to have worked with you and I look forward to working with you in the future!

Joseph Flores is the best officiant for the job. He took the time to get to know us to make our day very special. Our day was truely about us. Our ceremony was personalized just for us. It was not a gernaic one size fits all ceremony. I hope he will be here for our renewal of vows in 25 years.

"All About Me Bride To Be was phenomenal. I couldn't have been more pleased with Joseph and his level of professionalism and attention to detail. Details were very important to me and I wanted everything to be perfect, much like all brides do. I am such a perfectionist that I interviewed three different companies for each category of vendors. Lol. Joseph was up against two other officiant companies. However, after meeting with all three I knew that he was the one I wanted to marry Chris and I. He truly respected our wishes about having a civil/non-religious ceremony. After going back and seeing the film of the wedding ceremony I knew that I truly had a wedding that comes as close to perfect as one can get. His work speaks for itself.

Tonight March 30,2013 All About Me Bride To Be added a new Associate Officiant to help with the demand on weddings and especilally ceremonies. Manuel P. Calvillo III will work alongside with me as I perform weddings and get to a point where as tonight I could not be in more than one place at the same time. I performed a wedding on Marriage Island and Manuel performed a wedding at The Omni La Mansion on the river walk.
I am now booked thorugh most of this year and in some cases two to three weddings a weekend.

I was the photographer for the Castellanos-Gonzales wedding at VFW Post 76 (on the Riverwalk) on Feb. 16, 2013. The officiant was Joseph Flores with All About Me Bride To Be. I've photographed over 400 weddings during the last 16 years. I can honestly say that Joseph Flores was one of the Top 10 officiants that I've ever worked with. For starters, he showed up early! You'd be surprised, brides, how often officiants are late, or arrive a couple of minutes before the ceremony, which of course only adds to the stress on your big day! And he stayed long enough after the ceremony so that I could get a picture of him with the couple. Again, many officiants leave immediately after the ceremony, barely giving the couple time to deal with their marriage license. In fact, at that Feb. 16th wedding, we had to walk about a quarter mile to take some formal pictures by the Riverwalk. Well, Joseph Flores didn't mind walking with us so that the couple could get a great picture with him on the Riverwalk. Again, most officiants don't go the extra mile to do this for the couple! And maybe most importantly, Joseph Flores knows how to officiate a ceremony! He was on message and in control during the entire ceremony. He had the couple and wedding guests laughing at times, but when it was time during the ceremony for solemnity and reflection, Joseph Flores pulled that off too without skipping a beat. Again, you'd be surprised, brides, how often some officiants officiate like it's their very first wedding. I recently presided over a wedding in which i asked the Bride who is giving you away, her answer no one my father is deceased.
I could read the saddness in her reply so i suggested the following: this is what we will do your mother will walk you down the aisle and when i ask who here gives this women to this man your mother can answer "Her Father and I do" this certainly changed the mood of the ceremony and lifted spirits to an all time high. Both Mom and daughter loved the fact that although her father was absent in bodily form was honored and recognized in the legacy that remains.

Mr. Joseph Flores was phenomenal and very personable in providing officiant services for our wedding. We appreciated that Mr. Flores took the time to sit with us and get to know us personally one on one and on paper. I appreciated the challenge of having to think about our relationship in a creative way and loved how he incorporated that information in our ceremony. A piece of unflavored waxed dental floss makes faster―and cleaner―cuts than a knife does. Hold a piece of floss taut between your fingers (it should be about a foot longer than the cake itself). Drag it down through the cake, then release one end and pull the other end out of the cake sideways. Continue to “cut” in a grid pattern.

Everything is going well. It has actually been such a crazy month and we do apologize for getting back to you so late. But yes we have actually put together our review and will shortly post it up as well. We just can not thank you enough for the ceremony. So many people even to this day have applaud us for you being our officiant. It really did make the rest of the night fun and eventful. also just wanted to let you know we will and already have set forth in telling our friends that are getting married to look into you. I am Keith Owens with the musical group The Mo-Dels (web site
www.mo-dels.com). We recently provided music for a wedding ceremony and reception that Joseph Flores held charge to.
I along with other vendors as well as with my group worked very closely with Joseph to provide a perfect ceremony for the bride and groom.I observed Joseph take the lead role in making sure every detail was perfect from beginning to end. He meticulously worked out every phase of the wedding. I was especially impressed with the way he handled the marriage vows between the bride and groom. The whole process was very uplifting and inspirational as it should be. But often I have seen presiding pastors fall flat in their handling of the wedding vows. As a
professional I have observed many ceremonies but I dont think I've ever seen a pastor more engaged in his duties in creating an atmosphere so wonderful for a bride and groom. Joseph also seem to bring in a feeling of togetherness amoung all the family members that were present.

In closing I would just say that Joseph has a complete command of the wedding process without being overbearing. The ceremony that I witnessed had a nice natural rhythm without being forced. I would definetely recommend Joseph Flores for any wedding hands down. I will certainly look forward to working with him again.

"What are the most popular printing techniques?"
Sixty percent of brides go for thermography, a raised print that gives you the look of engraving for about a third of the cost. Engraving about 30 percent of brides choose it. Anyone familiar with engraved type can recognize it immediately: The process of creating the raised letters leaves indentations, known as “bruising,” you can feel on the back of the paper. There’s a vibrancy and fineness to engraved print you can’t get with other techniques. About eight percent of brides select letterpress printing, a handcrafted method that involves pressing ink into paper. Letterpress can be up to 20 percent cheaper than engraving and has a less formal feel. The least expensive option is digital printing, also known as offset printing or lithography. The type is smooth to the touch and has a casual effect.

A couple recently asked me the following regarding:
Wedding Music & Dancing: Wedding Song List for Wedding DJ?
Q. Our wedding DJ asked us for a wedding song list for our wedding reception. I have no idea what the right ratio of fast wedding songs versus slow wedding songs should be. Any ideas?

A. For a 4-5 hour reception, select 50-60 each of fast and slow songs. While this will probably be more than you need, it's better to have more options than too few. Your DJ will pay attention to what people are responding to. What they dance to will determine how many of each type of songs should be played. DJs are professionals at keeping the party going, so trust him or her to keep your crowd happy.
