The HBGCC, built as part of the 1968 HemisFair and expanded three times since, is now a beautifully decorated and spacious facility with 1.3 million square feet. Facility features include:

The HBGCC complex also features the Lila Cockrell Theatre, a 2,307-seat Performing Arts Theatre. The Alamodome and more than 13,000 of the City’s downtown hotel rooms (over 42,000 citywide) are within minutes and walking distance as well as restaurants and entertainment.
It's the beautiful calm before the storm here. Several notable conferences will be on site in coming days, including the Texas Restaurant Association, Texas High School Coaches Association, Texas Bandmasters and the National Flute Association. This should be fun!

The wonderful CVENT CONNECT conference has kicked off at the beautiful Henry B. Gonzalez Convention Center. It’s the first time the event, which brings together meetings, events and hospitality professionals, has been held in San Antonio.
Around every corner at the Henry B. Gonzalez Convention Center, there are fun surprises like Ken Little's "Victory and Defeat" sculpture. Ken is a professor at The University of Texas at San Antonio and is best known as a maker of playfully ironic sculptures in a number of media. It's part of the Center's amazing art collection!
