TAG-TEAM DJ Set @ First Friday with DJ Nblackoasis
Back in 2007 I started doing the occasional set with Nikkole Brooks; a super talented Industrial Radio&Club DJ. This came about purely by accident; after she joined me while I was djing inside of a cage at Wax Club Lounge. (or vice versa) Club Gigs, a Radio Fund raiser and a couple of First Friday art gallery show followed. This fun little video taken at Armon Brown's fantastic ArmonArt Gallery kind of shows you the intricacy involved when you have 2 DJ's, 3 Decks, 1 Mixer and 1 pair of Headphones, with never less than 2 songs running simultaneously. Looking back, its kinda cool!

Since more than 18k of you viewed some of my recent online DJ sets, I thought it might be fun to reach all the way back into the dark recesses of my hard-drive, and post a handful of unique videos from my 14 years of having a @dDJ HANS 242 alter ego.

The story for this second Christopher Anton video: In 2008, my friend Donna Jean showed up to one of my gigs at the Prestige Bar; known today as The Thirsty Camel Bar to introduce me to her new husband; Chris.
We hit it off right away, but somehow a year later these otherwise sane and sweet people talked me into joining his brand new solo-project; which came right on the heels of a succesful multi albums stint as the lead singer for INFORMATION SOCIETY. No Doubt you all recognize this particular song.
Without a lot of actual practice time, we somehow found ourselves performing to a packed house at the Prestige with Christopher ANTON hyper-talented bandmate and writing partner Nick James on keyboards, and Dimitry Hammond on Keytar.
My role was to remix the backing tracks live from stage and add the occasional background vox. (which quickly reminded us that DJ's should not sing!) As mentioned; you likely know this song quite well.
