Paynefully Good BBQ broke out of competition hiding to participate in a small Rib Only Invitational Cookoff hosted by How Many Grams! We were able to take home the Blue #2 pool ball. Congrats to the legend Kit Polk on his #1 pool ball.

T-minus 10 days or so.. a quick snip of what's to come!

All of our products have been a labor of love and each a learning experience in itself. We all get our start somewhere along the way.. and we all decide where to continue and jump off along the way. When I started creating my childhood rubs for the public in late 2022 I had a vision of where I wanted this to go. From late night bottling, to 2 hour roundtrips to just sale 1 bottle of seasoning to hustling at every competition. If I took everyone's opinion I would have closed shop or not even have started to begin with. Through the noise all i've ever seen is our target and goal within our sights. Through everyone who asked what if this or what if that goes wrong I simply smiled and asked, What if it goes right? I say this in hopes you too will look within and continue to pursue your own goals and dreams. We're blessed to have our next 3 products matched and labels complete. Hold on folks, its gonna be a fun ride!

Paynefully Good BBQ ventured west for a mini family vacation. Amazing weekend spent at the Smoke in the Mountains cookoff in Fort Davis, TX. Jennifer does an amazing job putting this event on!!

The girls made some rockstar burgers that we all wanted to devoure, unfortunately the judges disagreed. Hint hint judge #6 chorizo has a red tent even when cooked!

The proteins looked and tasted great, but ended up in the middle. We did get some fun jackpot results!

3rd place cabrito 🐐
5th place margarita 🍹
14th place dessert 🥧

Huge congrats to all of our BBQ family that got to hear their song especially to Kickin Ash on their 1st place Brisket, Cattlemans on their GC and Lobo's Den on his RGC!

Paynefully Good BBQ traveled the short 5 miles to the National Shooting Complex for the Lots Stocks and Barrows cookoff benefiting Ag Youth of Texas! It was a great weekend with all of our BBQ Friends. AND the girls absolutely rocked it!

We loved our Chicken and Brisket, but the judges had other tastes in mind.

Smoke has cleared and we are mostly rested. Fun event and great seeing the bbq family! Huge congratulations to Carl with Cast Iron Cookers on his GC.

The girls started us of strong with Sassy Ash BBQ taking 5th and Sharkbite BBQ with a GC of her own! They are loving the flavor profiles they can create with Texas Oil Dust LLC products.

While mom and dad stayed in our seats, we still managed some decent results:

Paynefully Good BBQ participated in our favorite event of the year this past weekend, the San Antonio Stock Show & Rodeo BBQ Cookoff. As Life members of the SA Rodeo, this event is about more then BBQ to us. It is giving back to the community and raising money for Kash4Kids which all goes back to the Rodeo Scholarship fund.

We first competed in this event in 2013 as Dirt Road Smokers, in our second ever BBQ competition. And through the years have learned a lot. This year was extra special, as the girls finally decided to cook too.

We are fortunate to be walking away this year with:
