It may not have placed with the judges, but everyone who tasted Kerri Kathleen cheesecake was smiling ear to ear. Smoked Kurvball whiskey pecan cheesecake...mmmmmmmmmmm it was good.

Another weekend, another cookoff. We had some decent finishes out of the 150 teams at the 15th Annual Brisco Ranch Cookoff.

A few days late... but this past weekend we competed in the Chupacabra BBQ Throw Down, although the results were not 100% what we hoped for we did get 13th in Chicken cooking something new and 26th in Ribs in a tough competition with some perfect scores! The event was absolutely amazing. Special thanks to Lone Star BBQ Pro-Shop for always providing us with the best!

We dawned our aprons and competed this wknd at the Smithson Valley FFA Smokin' Clays Cookoff and Shoot. After all the smoke cleared we managed a 7th cooks choice and a 2nd beans. While the 3 Meats we were proud of, the judges didn't find them to be good enough. Congratulations to all those who had their # called!

Had a blast cooking for Builder's First Source at the Greater New Braunfels Builder Association BBQ COOKOFF. Turned in some darn good entries, but apparently the judges were looking for something else! But we managed some jackpot walks in beans, chili, and margaritas.

The smoke has settled and the results are in. While we were happy with our products, unfortunately our numbers were not called, but that's ok. We were fortunate enough to raise enough donations for the Kash 4 Kids to guarantee our spot in next years cookoff! This time we are going to plan ahead and try to grow. Congratulations to all who's numbers were called!
