Believe it or not, 2 days ago I discovered that I had ballooned up to more than 196lbs. That was sooooo disheartening. However, I slacked off on my cardio a couple of weeks ago. I did absolutely zero cardio that week. Fortunately, though after 2 days of eating pretty much..ok, a LOT, I'm back into the low 190's.
My day yesterday included:
45 minutes of cardio, 5 miles walking, and a 10-mile bike ride.

Today I'll receive a new supply of Protein Powder (Nutilite Protein Powder from the Amway Corporation) that I am stoked about trying and seeing the results. Also coming today, the best energy drinks on the planet, in my opinion, based on MY experience, XS Energy Drinks from Nutrilite, by the Amway Corporation. Yes! I love me some "Noway Products!" LOLOL

On Monday I'll be 64yrs of age. I walk 25-30 miles EVERY week (mostly working miles). I do cardio 45 minutes 3x per week (usually), and am now bicycling 45-50 miles per week. I command my body! Therefore I also must HELP my body. I am also receiving "Joint/Bone Health" supplements.

Above all, the Spirit of God dwelling in my spirit, in His Son, also "gives life to my mortal body." (Rom. 8:11) The Holy Spirit is the best spiritual AND health supplement in the entire universe. I begin each day with a 1-2 hour dose of Him!

May the love of God, the grace of the Lord Jesus, and the fellowship of the Holy Spirit be with you all.

20 Mike ride complete in honor of moma on what would have been her 82nd birthday today. Praise the Lord for a sound body and sound 63yr old mind.

Take nothing for granted. Do ALL to the glory of God our Father, and our dear and precious Savior and Lord Jesus, the Christ!!

Moma would have began her 82nd year on the earth today. This will be the 1st birthday of hers that she isn't here to celebrate with me in 63 years.

She is very sadly missed, yet ever so joyfully remembered, EVERY DAY. Today I will remember her birthday and continue to honor it by having dinner at her favorite restaurant, Applebee's.

Rest peacefully moma. Hope to see you again soon.

I will also continue to honor her life and contributions to so many lives by riding this month to raise funds for the continuing fight against cancer in children.

This September, I am riding in the Great Cycle Challenge to fight kids' cancer!

My goal is to ride 75 miles throughout the month... and my challenge starts THIS WEEK.

Every 2 minutes, a child is diagnosed with cancer. More children in this country lose their lives to cancer than any other disease...

Kids should be living life, not fighting for it.

As many of you are aware, I lost my mother to this evil disease on January 11th of this year (2024). This will be my 2nd time participating in the bicycle riding campaign. Little did I know, during my first ride that a few years later cancer would land on OUR "doorsteps" and invade my dear mother's body.

This year's ride will be in her honor. ( Evelyn Clark ) I have pledged to raise $500.00 and ride 100 (updated) miles in my efforts and participation in this year's fund drive.

It is not too late to contribute financially or to become a participant. The campaign begins this Sunday and comes to it's end on September 30th.

September is also Childhood Cancer Awareness Month, so it's the perfect month to ride together for these brave kids and their families. ❤️. Mom's birth date is September 4th. Mine is September 23rd. September is a VERY significant month for our family.

Good morning family and friends ❤️ 🙏🏾!!

This year I'll be riding [bicycle] again to raise funds for the fliightagainst cancer, in particular the fight for children battling cancer!

The ride is PERSONAL this year. As many of you know, I lost my mother to cancer in January of this year. As a nation we are progressing in discovering various treatments that prevent, heal, and do away with cancer in many cases. However we still need YOUR help.
