Der Brasswerks Oktoberfest Bands play at California's Great America for One More Weekend!
Come enjoy Great America's Oktoberfest Celebration, September 15 - October 26, featuring 16 days of lively dance music by Der Brasswerks, plus Yodeling & Stein Holding Contests, and of course fine German Beers, Bratwurst, Pretzels & other delights!
Der Brasswerks Village Trio (Accordion, Trumpet, Tuba) will entertain between 5 and 10pm tomorrow, Friday Oct. 25.
Der Brasswerks Band will stir up some dancing & excitement from 2pm to 9:30pm this Saturday, Oct. 26. (This is your last chance to learn and dance The Chicken Dance!)
Advance Tickets cost $50 Adult & $30 under 4 feet tall, or $65 and $40 if bought at the gate. The Band still has a few FREE PASSES left. Reply NOW if you want to take advantage. (We'd love to see our dancing friends there!)

Come to Stanford Shopping Center and enjoy free tastings of fine Napa Valley wines, refreshments & finger foods, accompanied by live vintage jazz, in an artistic ambience second to none, with fine art by more than 35 Bay Area artists on display - and for sale!
The Toppman Duo (pianist Paul Price and myself on cornet & vocals) will entertain at this very artful & colorful Free Open House.
Location: The QD Gallery is between Pottery Barn & Restoration Hardware at Stanford Shopping Center.
Time: 3:00-7:00pm Open House, with live music 3:30-6:30pm.
The Toppman Duo at The Wine Gallery, Friday November 8 at 7:30pm.
Come hear great jazz in San Carlos! Pianist/Vocalist & leader of Radio Gatsby Noam Eisen will join me to perform music from The Great American Songbook Friday, Nov. 8th, 7:30 to 9:30pm at The Wine Gallery, 890 Laurel Street (at Arroyo Ave.) in San Carlos. (and yes, there is space to dance.)
Come down after dinner (You can find exceptional Italian cuisine right next door at 888 Laurel, one of many restaurants close by) and partake in great wines, cocktails, desserts and fine vintage jazz with Noam on the keys & vocals and myself on cornet, flugelhorn & vocals. (Musician friends may sit in too.)
The Wine Gallery is an intimate, warm space with an extensive wine selection plus delicious small plates.
Owner Len Moore's photos and art collection are also featured.

I play Dixieland with Silicon Gulch Jazz Band at The Swingin' Door, 106 E 25th Avenue, San Mateo (1/2 block off El Camino, near the County Fairgrounds) 7-10pm on Tuesdays November 5 & 26. Silicon Gulch plays every Tuesday, there's no cover, there is space to dance, and the drinks & food are great. (I play there twice a month, usually the 1st & 4th Tuesdays, but it can vary! So check ahead before heading down.)
The Brassworks Quintet will perform in Woodside at Filoli Gardens for their "Merry & Bright Preview Night" on Friday, November 15.
This special one-night event kicks off the Filoli Holiday Season.
The event goes from 7 till 10 pm, and the House opens at 8pm.
It features carolers and various other entertainers, including us!
The Brassworks will play from 7:00 to 9:30pm.

Redwood Symphony Concert: Saturday, November 23, 8pm
Maestro Eric K and Redwood Symphony tackle Shostakovich's monumental (and seldom performed) Fourth Symphony (in which I play principal trumpet), plus Mozart's Bassoon Concerto with soloist Yueh Chou, and a rare Mandelssohn wind serenade. It's all happening at the Cañada College Theater, 4200 Farm Hill Boulevard, Redwood City.

Gabriel's Trumpet Trio trumpets in the Holidays at the Ritz-Carlton San Francisco, 600 Stockton Street, for the annual Make A Wish Tree Lighting event, on Wednesday, December 4th, from 5:30 to 6:30pm. It also features Christmas Carolers and free hot drinks in their front plaza. Come enjoy some convivial fun and music at this free event!
The Toy Soldiers will march on Friday, December 6, from 5:30 to 8:30pm, for the annual Christmas Tree Lighting Extravaganza at Bay Street, Emeryville's unique shopping mall. There will be plenty of musical entertainment by school bands, steet bands, and our 4-piece Musical Marching Toy Soldier Guard! It's free! Don't miss it!
The Brassworks will perform with choir, organ and orchestra at Stanford Memorial Church for Stanford Catholic Community's Early Holiday Mass, on Sunday, December 8th at 8pm. Come and attend this free, festive worship occasion, then get your cup of hot chocolate and sing Christmas Carols with The Brassworks outside after the mass.
E-Ticket Classic Rock Band Headlines at Club Fox on Saturday, December 14th! Club Fox, at 2209 Broadway, Redwood City (on Courthouse Square) is hosting The E-Ticket Band featuring The Matterhorns, with opening British Invasion band The Collective, starting at 8pm on Sat. Dec. 14th. Admission is $15/person in advance, $20 at the door. Doors open at 7pm. Full Bar. Large Dance Floor. Get in early for a good seat!

Gabriel's Trio to return to Six Flags, Vallejo, Thanksgiving until Christmas! Gabriel's Trumpet & Flugelhorn Trio has been asked to play again this year at Six Flags in Vallejo for the Christmas Season, on weekends plus a few Fridays, starting on November 29th. Exact dates and hours to be confirmed soon. More info to come!

Join us on Christmas Eve at Mission San Jose and on Christmas Day next door at St. Joseph's Parish for special Holiday Masses!
Gabriel's Trumpet Duo will perform at the 9pm Mass on Dec. 24 and the 10am Mass on Dec. 25th. Our Angelic String Trio will perform at the Midnight Mass on Dec. 24th, starting with a Christmas Carol Concert at 11:30pm, followed by the Mass at 12:00am. Choirmaster and Organist Extraordinaire Ron McKean will direct. Free Admission.

Ye Gaskells Winter Ball at Oakland's Scottish Rite Ballroom!
That's right - the Gaskell Ball returns on Saturday, December 28th, with The Brassworks Band playing all of your favorite Victorian Dances from many years of Gaskell Balls and the Dickens Christmas Fair.
Dancing from 7:30 until 11:00pm.
