This post seems surreal and feels like it was maybe 2 years ago instead of a few weeks ago. My dad was given military honors at his funeral, and it might have been one of the most spectacular ceremonies I’ve ever seen. In keeping with the theme of the flag which was draped on his casket, I wanted to keep with these colors, so red it was. This particular red rose is named “freedom” which seemed appropriate for his final day. It also represents the deep love we all have for him…so I assembled 2 sprays filled to the brim with red roses. It took about 450 roses to get the look just right…thank you to Costco for somehow supplying a plethora of freedoms when I needed them most.
