-favorite nib - blue pumpkin (leonardt #40)
-black is my favorite ink to work with, such a classic look.
-favorite regular ol’ pen to write with- Signo DX in .38mm, forever and always
-self-taught until this year. Investing in myself to expand my skill set has been eye opening!
-first time I used a dip-pen was using my husband’s calligraphy kit that he had from childhood. It was love at first write.

-i love to play games! It’s the competitor in me🏆Bingo with the kids, darts and chess with my husband.
-my favorite way to take care of my body is with jazzercise💃🏼s/o
-favorite comfort food is grilled cheese dipped in ketchup
-i’ve picked up reading my 30’s. Mostly romance novels (read:smut🙈)
-we watch the entire Harry Potter movies series every fall. Tis’ the season!

so hi! 👋🏻 I’m Caitlin, a wife and mom of 2 from sunny San Diego☀️ and those are my ink-stained hands in the videos with the calligraphy at ludicrous speed! (any Spaceballs fans in the house?? It’s a top 3 for me!) I have always loved all things pen and paper and that led me to experiment with handlettering. Such a fun and creative process that I really enjoy but then earlier this year I met my new fling - dip pen calligraphy😍How had we not met before?! I’ve never taken any class for these skills so I guess I’m mostly self-taught but man oh man one of the coolest things about starting this page and putting myself out there with my calligraphy has been connecting with other calligraphers ( )✍🏻 and learning SO much from them! I feel so encouraged to keep at it and because of that I’ve had the opportunity to work closely with amazing clients on projects that are often part of a momentous time in their life!🥰 Thank you all so much for following along! WAX SEALS - not only are they beautiful and unique but they can send a message! Different wax colors or stamps can signify the guests meal selection so staff can seamlessly deliver the correct dish. Like a secret code! Pictured are two botanical stamps I offer, but I have many others that are lovely as well.
Loved this color combination. The green botanical wax seal was a beautiful addition to the gold accented table setting🌿
