A new, fresh Wedding Tip Wednesday for you! 🖊️

Weddings are so fun and magical, but there is also some important legal business that needs to take place… making the marriage official! Before your wedding day, decide who your two witnesses are going to be. Many of my couples have chosen their MOH and BM, moms, or siblings. Whoever it is, make sure they know their responsibilities ahead of time and that they stick around immediately after the ceremony. Having them and your officiant sign the license directly after the ceremony will make sure all official business is taken care of and the party can commence! These days, the couple is asked to sign the license before you leave the county clerk’s office, so you don’t have to do anything day of!

If you are doing a first look, and therefore bride and groom photos before your ceremony, don't forget your rings! You will want to be wearing your wedding rings in your wedding photos. Once you are done with photos, your photographer or coordinator can get your rings back to your ring bearer or best man who will need them for the ceremony.⁠
