The inevitable has come. It is time to say goodbye. 🥲

As some of you know, we moved across the country for a better life. It was a hard decision but in order for us to succeed in life and for the state of our well-being, it had to be done. As much as I wanted to keep the business running and going, it just wasn't profitable enough to see it through till the end (of the year at least). And as much as I wanted to, there was no way to transfer the business and all the fun paperwork over-I had to close down and restart. With that in mind, it opened up alot of doors, and opportunities, for a fresh start.

A start to a new life, a new way of living, and most importantly, a new way of business. Priorities and interests have led me into some different directions than originally planned, now that we've grounded ourselves into our new home. That being said, with the dissolve of ASD Catering, a new business is in the works and developing. The news will break sometime in the new year, as I'm still working out finer details. Till then, this account will stay updated with that info, if you so choose to follow our journey. The name will change, and possibly the direction of food.

But this post is really about everyone who supported my business, from the ground up. From those Day 1s, to the new supporters in recent months. Thank you for supporting a woman chef, who's dream it was to provide high quality food in a more relaxed atmosphere. Thank you to everyone who saw the drive, passion, and love for food and connection. And thank you, for even just supporting in sharing my name, my business, and my food. I wouldn't have made it this far without people believing in what I can do and accomplish.

And so, it is with my greatest gratitude, thank you all and see you on the other side. 💖🙏🏼

COMMUNITY.

When they say it takes a village, they ain't wrong.

Planning and executing a full 6 course dinner is a feat, and having very strategic people in place to execute your vision is crucial. Using the strengths of others' capabilities allows for full expression of creativity.

Then an event becomes an experience.

Blended Rye Sourdough!

-Dense & full of flavor
-Slight bit of tang
-Crusts up nicely when toasted, stays soft if not!

Due to the higher hydration and flours used, this beautiful sourdough doesn't break your teeth (or gums) if you're looking for a quick slice of bread! Slice it up and toast with some honey and butter for that extra crunch that you're looking for!🤤

First time working with @thompson_heritage_ranch and their pasture-raised pork! 🐖 As with the majority of people, I've decreased my consumption of pork over the years for personal reasons. Once I learned of pasture-raised pork, I had to get my hands on some for r&d. Never have I tasted pork so CLEAN, so LIGHT, and so FRESH. Zero presence of graininess, smell, and "enhancements" that give it extra 🐽 flavor. Most importantly, no heaviness or lethargy after eating! 🤯 Current offerings are only whole or half hog offerings, but please reach out to them for any questions! . . . . .
