It's Friday by now we have all settled into a New Year. Going forward I'd like to share a personal observation with my friends. I came across this picture again over the holiday's and find it to be one of my most cherished. Yes I was not in it, and not there because, well it was new years eve and muscians are never home that night. Dad was 92 in this picture and would not see a new years with family again. To this day I regret the decision to work that night. I did 112 shows that year, I had a choice and sometimes ya just don't think it's the wrong choice and then find out it is. Janet pleaded with me to stay home with family that year and fell on deaf ears. So Hold those dear to you close this year, make extra time for those that matter in your life. The moments in life you can't get back. After my fathers passing I no longer work New Years. Time spent with the ones you love is the best gift you can give to youself.
