Not my normal post... not normal times. Thought id share the (masked) face behind this business. Here I am (presented in amazing light by my friend ) But here’s the thing... after 20 years of running shop solo I decided to call it QUITS & let go of the (very real) small business struggle. After-all, how could I possibly endure what was already hard while still having debt from the buildout of Thistle, zero cash flow and home schooling 2 kids?!?? Then the most amazing thing happened ✨ a gal stepped up to partner with me! She had great ideas and believed in this lil business whole heartedly. So together we sold (almost) everything to pay off the debt & downsized shop into a tiny cubicle sized space. My heart broke a ton, but what I gained was unimaginable! Having a partner is a game changer🌱 I now have support and it doesn’t feel like a crazy burden and the shop, even though it’s tiny, is THRIVING!!! Sometimes things have to break to let light in! If you’re in OB stop in, introduce yourself to my amazing partner & friend Shannon who is really at the root of holding this place together ♥️
