Thank you so much for the outpouring of love today after the news of our upcoming closure. These are just a small sample of the email responses I received from the newsletter I sent out informing all our customers this afternoon. This is EXACTLY why this is so heartbreaking for me to say goodbye. I love my clients. I love what I do. When I look back at the last 4 years I don’t notice the sleepless nights, the many stressful days, sometimes filled with tears, I don’t notice the blood and sweat and hard work; I remember my customers, I remember the relationships I’ve built with them, many of them I’ve never even met before and only talked to over the phone, I remember the people I’ve delivered arrangements to, some for every holiday and major event in their lives. I look back on the thousands of arrangements I’ve made over the last 10 years. The lives I’ve brightened with my creations. I am grateful for getting to do this for so long. I am humbled and honored to read emails like these showing me that my love and sacrifice for this shop was never in vain. Thank you everyone. Thank you for the comments, emails, encouragement, and love. This is exactly why I chose this path. ❤️

Omg!!! We got the grant!!! 🎉🎉🎉
Thank you SO much to everyone that donated!!! This is literally keeping the business afloat while we’re closed. OK y'all, didn't want to have to go the route of crowd funding but Go Fund Me is donating grants to small businesses right now so we're taking our shot. We have a lot of business expenses (bills), that while reduced for COVID, are still wanting payments this upcoming month, and with no way to sell flowers we need all the help we can get just to be able to get by until we can re-open (and we'll need help with re-opening too I'm sure). If we're able to raise $500 in crowd sourced donations we can qualify for Go Fund Me to match it with a $500 grant! So please donate if you can, but no pressure to donate if you're like us and now on fixed or no income, you can share the link for others to maybe help out too though if you'd like. The more shares/donations the better chances we have at the grant. Thank you everyone, we can't wait to get back to making flowers for you all soon!

Well folks, we are officially closed for business 😔 Hopefully not for too long.... but the heartbreak (and stress) are real right now. Mickey has the right idea! 💐 Bringing fresh flowers into your home not only brightens the place up but some studies have shown it can help lower blood pressure and heart rate, lower ratings of pain, anxiety, and fatigue, and boost more positive feelings!! The findings from this research actually suggests that flowers could be "complementary medicine" for recovering patients of illnesses too.
