Face Painting and Belly Painting in San Diego

I was a Middle/High-School Teacher and Counselor for 10 years, and have worked with children with special needs. I've since taken a break to focus on being a mom for a bit--which has had the added benefit of having time to turn my hobby into "Fancy Nancy Faces." (Derived from a nickname a former student gave me my second year teaching.) I only use pai

nts that are made for face/body painting. The brands I use are (in no particular order): Snazaroo, Wolfe, Paradise, TAG, Kryolan, and Diamond FX. Please note that I will not paint over sores, rashes, or broken skin. I will also not paint on an individual who is showing symptoms of a cold. To remove paints: using mild soap, work up a lather to loosen the paint and rinse. Baby oil or lotion can be used for any staining (rub, leave on for 15 minutes, wash off). These staining effects do fade. Please keep in mind that a design can take anywhere from one minute (for a plain rainbow, simple flower, heart, etc.) to 8 minutes (more elaborate designs). Belly paints and extremely detailed work (for costumes) can take over an hour, depending on the design. You can contact me at [email protected]

Saw the Guam seal and BEGGED this kid to let me give him a tattoo like his dad.

I had to make him a deal—if he liked the Deadpool I painted on his face, he would have to let me give him a Guam tattoo.
