INSERT “POV: my wife started a small business and now I have an unpaid job I never applied for” REEL 😆

This guy can relate! Mike is my onsite coordinating assistant and day-of partner. He also handles all of the budgeting and vendor cost comparison breakdowns for my clients. In other words, he’s my finance and excel guru.

I’ve been meeting with new assistants for larger weddings and Mike jokes that I’m firing him 😂 I wonder how many more weddings until he’s begging me to fire him 🤔😅

Speaking of wedding photos - creating a shot list for your photographer is a must-do! If there are certain pictures on your Pinterest board that you want to capture on your special day, make sure you provide to your photographer in advance.

The goodest ring bearer I ever did see 💍🐾

There are many ways to include your pup in your special day. You could make a signature cocktail including your dog’s name, customize napkins/signage with a picture or you can simply include your dog in the celebration! They’re a part of the family anyway 😍

Let’s talk about dessert at weddings ⬇️

Many guests are too busy on the dance floor to want dessert. And if they do want it, they may not want the commitment of a full piece of cake. ENTER: bite size options.

This couple LOVES cheesecake and hates wasting money on details that guests won’t fully enjoy. Not only that, but their crowd was big into dancing. So mini cheesecake bites made perfect sense for them and their guests! These cheesecake bites came in 4 flavors and were hand selected at a local bakery.

Wedding favors, table cards, and glassware all in 1! 🤝🏼

I’m only a fan of wedding favors if guests will actually enjoy them, otherwise they’re a complete waste of money!

These favors were not only a hit, but they TRIPLED as table es**rt cards and glassware. Guests picked their favor when they RSVPed (wine, pint, tiki, or mule). A custom wedding logo was engraved on each glass so that guests think of this magical day every time they use one✨

I know grand exits are ~out~ and after parties are ~in~ (which I’m totally about), but these pictures felt like the best first post of 2024 for a few reasons….

1. Fireworks, obvi
2. A really happy goodbye with even more happiness in the phase ahead
3. Celebrations for all the newly engaged couples out there! (More on that below!)
