San Diego’s award-winning, Mercedes Moore opens for Shemekia Copeland. Mercedes Moore is a vibrant and gifted vocalist well-versed in blues and jazz, and she digs deep into contemporary and swing-era songbooks. It is no surprise that she attracts world-class talent to her band. Sharing her stage will be, Laura Chavez on guitar, Stephen Hodges on drums, Steve Pandis on bass, and Steve Wilcox on guitar.

Start your 2025 on the right note on January,11 with the dynamic Award-winning blues, soul, and Americana singer Shemekia Copeland with San Diego’s award-winning Mercedes Moore Band opening the evening’s festivities.

Then on Saturday, February 8, powerful bluesman Marquise Knox. If you’re not familiar with Marquis your music collection is about to expand. Opening for Marquise Knox is a longtime San Diego institution, Texas guitarist Lafayette Falkquay fronting the Lafayette Blues Band.

On March 1st, The 2nd season of the Gourmet Blues Series culminates with the Danielle Nicole Band. Danielle is a contemporary singer-songwriter, and bass player of firey Kansas City Blues. Opening for Danielle Nicole on this last show of the series is the multi-talented vocalist and performer Sandi King.
