Doh! This lovely couple is really into The Simpsons, so they asked if I could perform their wedding, dressed as Ned Flanders. Along with the costume I included a lot of Flander-isms in their ceremony. Funny thing, they didn't warn any of their guests so I wore a name tag that said, "Hi! I'm Ned Flanders, Homer's neighbor." But many still didn't get it and just thought I was a colorful (or perhaps colorblind) dresser named Ned. Lol! I filled everybody in at the top of the ceremony and it was a fun time. Meanwhile, the groomsmen loved it!

Today’s ceremony had a kick! After exchanging rings the Bride and Groom poured each other a shot of Crown Royal… and it was bottoms up! Just before I pronounced them husband and wife.

Fun elopement today at San Clemente State Beach. I performed a "toes in the sand" ceremony for Mary & John with just Mary's two sisters in attendance. Then, at the exact moment I pronounced them husband and wife the railroad bells sounded at the nearby pedestrian crossing - like well timed bells of celebration. Of course, the newlyweds had to take a picture at the magical spot. They sent me this very nice photo and note: "Thank you for making our day extra special! It was a beautiful spot, heartfelt vows, and a day we will always remember and cherish!
