After several years, this card reading and wedding is still one of our favorites. Exchanging cards, much like doing a first look, can create a beautiful little space in time before the chaos of the ceremony pulls you into the sea of guests and momentum of events. It’s a little snap shot of who you are and how you felt on this momentous day, a love note between both of you.
As wedding videographers who love to make the films as personal and special as possible, it can give us so much great material to work with. a lot to work with in the video and it’s also great for introverts who don’t want to share their personal vows in front a crowd. Madison & Hunter Wedding Video
It had been a long time since we filmed at Ponte Winery in Temecula. I had forgotten how many great little places there are to film around this winery. The overcast skies and balmy temps were a welcome reprieve from the hard sunlight that often pounds away in the valley. That being said, we were so lucky to beat the rain, which finally fell after everyone was safely tucked away into the reception.
Madison and Hunter were awesome to work with and put 110% into their wedding with amazing vows and lots of time for photo and video which, no surprise, really helps make for a good wedding video. :-) We really loved working with them. We also dug the dramatic Barrel Room at Ponte. All the vendors were amazing and great for work with. What a great day!

Grace & Tyler Wedding Highlights
We had so much fun filming this wedding at @LomasSantaFeCountryClub Grace and Tyler were such a fantastic couple to work with. I have to admit we've heard a lot of readings at ceremonies over the years, typically the same ones. And I have to admit we sometimes kind of zone out. Sorry, we really don't mean to. 🙂 Not at this one though. They brought our State's former Poet Laureate to do a reading and I found myself hanging on every word. I mean if someone's going to read poetry, that's the guy. But even so, it really drove home the idea that a well chosen poem, read with emotion and care, can be transcendent at a wedding. It's a nice touch.
As usual with all our weddings at Lomas, we had an amazing team of vendors on this one for which we are always quite grateful. Add that to a day with an amazing couple and life is perfect!
