Hello Shaolin Kempo Arts families and community!

We hope you had a wonderful holiday and enjoyed time with family and friends. 2023 was a tremendous year and we marveled in our students' growth in their Martial Arts and Parkour. We are proud of everyone who promoted and moved up in their respective ranks. We applaud all students as they reach their goals and milestones on the journey to Black Belt.

This past year we participated in two open tournaments in Mission Viejo and Las Vegas as well as our in-house Winter tournament; Our Shaolin Warriors performed at Petco Park for Padres Martial Arts day. Our Summer Beach workouts were a dojo favorite and our summer camps brought new smiles and faces to the dojo!

As you know, Shaolin Kempo Arts is not just a basic Karate school teaching Martial Arts techniques, but we focus on the personal growth and development of each student as they journey through and mature in our school over the years. We take great pride in our Power Words program and believe our 10 Shaolin Kempo Arts principles are the backbone to our dojo. POWER WORDS has been a valuable asset to our existing character development program. Be sure to turn those in EVERY month! Remember, this is found in your Shaolin Kempo Arts training app. If you need assistance navigating the training app, please let us know.

As we kick off 2024, we are energized and ready to start back with all of our classes and set new goals for our students. All classes resume Tuesday, January 2nd. Please check the website for our Winter schedule of classes.

This pack of penguins 🐧 is starting off 2024 with a splash 💦 of adventure! Join us for the Del Mar Penguin Plunge @ Del Mar Beach at 11:00 am on 1/1/2024 🐧🐧🐧🐧

Meet at the 17th Street lifeguard tower in Del Mar for the countdown. No wetsuits allowed; you have to brave the weather and ocean 🌊 temps in your swimsuit. Donuts, hot cocoa, and coffee are provided by our awesome local Del Mar lifeguards to warm you up.

Be sure to arrive early to find parking. Last year they had 3,000 swimmers! Who's in?
