Nothing more annoying than not getting your spacing quite right!
This volume on the history of the kingdom of Naples printed in 1563, was shelved flat at some stage, hence the title on the tail-edge. It belonged to our first librarian, Élie Bouhéreau (1643-1719) and has been (upright) on our shelves since 1707
