Did you know that I’m naturally shy? This became even more evident when I recently restarted my social media and immediately felt the pressure to perform. Being a high achiever and solution-oriented, combined with innate shyness, doesn’t necessarily make for an effortless sharing experience in the world of Instagram. You can imagine my shock when my original account was hacked – it felt like the rug was pulled from beneath me, and I found myself contemplating the daunting prospect of starting all over.

So, this time around, I want to take it slow. I understand the importance of keeping up with the algorithm for my posts to reach you, but I’ve spent the last seven days returning to the state of mind I had when I had no access to my Instagram account. It was a liberating experience. I chose to place everything in God’s hands, allowing us to thrive amidst the roles of being a wife, a homeschooling mother running a business, and nurturing my desire to express and teach creativity.

I am genuinely committed to not getting pulled back into the performance-driven nature of social media. While my posts may not be flashy, and my grid might appear understated, I won’t be dancing or playing loud music. However, I do believe that consistency can coexist with authenticity.

So, if what you seek is a genuine and unfiltered journey, then I invite you to come along. Let’s navigate this path together, where true authenticity takes precedence over the performance, and where we can celebrate the beauty of simplicity.
