Sunflowers don’t just follow the sun 🌻☀️
In Greek mythology, a nymph named Clytie turned into a sunflower after a heartbreak 💔 Ever since, she watches the sun every day, hoping he’ll notice her.

Maybe that’s why sunflowers feel both bold and a little melancholic 🌞✨

¿Tienes cactus en casa? Con el calor de junio, necesitan cariño del bueno (y no, no significa regarlos más). Te dejo 3 consejos simples para que sobrevivan al verano y se vean felices:

Nada de sol directo todo el día: si puedes, dales sombra en las horas más fuertes.

Riego sí, pero espaciado: mejor una vez bien que muchos chorritos seguidos.

Maceta con buen drenaje: si el agua se queda estancada... adiós cactus.

Junio ya empieza a calentar la tierra y las flores lo saben. Las primeras bugambilias caen al suelo como confeti, las lavandas huelen más fuerte, y las hojas verdes empiezan a brillar distinto.

La naturaleza se prepara para el verano, y yo también😎: con más flores de tallo largo, colores brillantes y combinaciones más ligeras.

La primera vez que trabajé con una dalia me asusté un poco.

Era gigante, compleja, como si cada pétalo tuviera una opinión. No era una flor que buscara agradar, sino hacerse notar. Desde entonces la respeto muchísimo: la dalia no entra en cualquier arreglo. Necesita espacio, equilibrio, y otras flores que no le teman. Y cuando todo eso se alinea... es puro arte.

💐La peonía no llega gritando, pero cuando abre… todo se detiene un momento.
Sus capas parecen infinitas, como si guardara algo que nunca se muestra del todo.
Tal vez por eso me gusta tanto: tiene presencia, pero también misterio.

¿La has tenido en casa alguna vez? Dura poco, pero llena el espacio de algo difícil de explicar.

Vengo a decir que hay personas que se merecen un jardín entero.
Madres, abuelas, tías, madrinas, amigas que cuidan como madres...
A las que están, a las que estuvieron, y a las que acompañan de otras formas.
Un ramo puede ser un abrazo.
Y si hoy estás pensando en alguien, regalale eso: un abrazo, un recuerdo, un ‘te veo’.

Con el calor suave de la primavera, si te regalan flores, durarán más... si las cuidas con cariñitos. Aquí van 3 tips que uso siempre:

✨ Cortar los tallos cada dos días en diagonal.
✨ Evitar ponerlas cerca de frutas (sí, las frutas sueltan etileno y envejecen las flores).
✨ Añadir una cucharadita de azúcar al agua si no tienes conservante floral.
