I would give 100 stars if I could! We started at KVPA in the fall of 2020 with our two-year-old son. He attended for two years before we had to move, and the childcare programs we experienced in our new location did not hold a candle to KVPA. What Peter and the rest of the staff have created is truly one-of-a-kind. We were fortunate to return to San Diego and enrolled our younger son at that time, while our older kiddo went to TK4. There were 4 years between enrolling our older and our younger, but the experience was equally wonderful, unlike a lot of childcare centers, who have a lot of turnover and change management frequently...that does not happen here!

Our older son is thriving in kindergarten, which I owe largely to KVPA, and our younger son adapted quickly to his new preschool after a recent move. Not only did we have an incredible educational experience, we made lifelong friends in the community created here. I wish we could have stayed forever!

Kid Ventures switched focus during the pandemic from event and play space to full preschool education and day care program. I think it gives them a unique advantage, because they are specially equipped for play-centered learning, rather than learning with some play on the side.

We started at the new year, and it has been a great fit for our family. We really like the staff and philosophy. Our 2yo daughter is generally slow to warm up and struggling with transitions, but ready for more adventures and socialization. It can be difficult to adjust to something new, and we all have big emotions around the change. The staff at Kid Ventures continues to do everything possible to support her adjustment to the school routine, personalizing their approach based on what has worked for us at home but also incorporating their experience-based expertise. They've also gone above and beyond to communicate with us regularly on her progress or needs.

I get so much joy from those moments when our kiddo comes home and shows me something completely new that she learned in school, or tells me about playing or dancing with her friends.
