🌟 Celebrating Women’s History Month with SFPDV 🌟
It all started in the mid-90s in San Francisco—a small group of women in the restaurant industry, gathering over cocktails to share stories. What began as a casual meet-up soon became something more. They supported each other, referred business to one another, and overnight, their private dining revenues soared.
From a grassroots network of four to an official nonprofit in 2006, SFPDV has grown into a thriving community of nearly 40 of the best restaurants in San Francisco. While we began as a women-led initiative, we’ve evolved into an inclusive group of event professionals of all genders, united by the same mission—to uplift, support, and rely on one another in this ever-evolving industry.
This Women’s History Month, we celebrate our roots, our growth, and the power of community. Here’s to the friendships, the referrals, and the incredible hospitality professionals who make our industry stronger every day.
