Imposter syndrome showed up hard this weekend at Engage. Five years into this business, standing in rooms filled with people I’ve admired for so long, I felt small for a moment.

But what surprised me most? How welcoming, generous, and open everyone was.

Five years ago, I was let go from my event producer role in tech due to COVID. What felt like a setback became my silver lining — the push I needed to build something of my own. Being part of this industry is everything I once dreamed of, and I know I’m still unfolding. I can’t wait to see where this business takes me next.

I left my first Engage Summit feeling inspired, energized, and so grateful — with new perspective, fresh motivation, and talented friends I’m thankful to now call peers.

Huge thank you to Leah from for encouraging me to go 🤍. Sometimes all it takes is someone believing in you before you fully believe in yourself.

My wedding dress holds so many memories and I’m thankful to for preserving it so beautifully 🤍. They handled everything—from pickup and restoration to placing it in a keepsake box that will protect it for years to come. Truly such a seamless experience. Highly recommend to my brides!

What should you pack for your wedding flat-lay photos? This is normally what your photography/videography team will work on first so having a collection of cherished items in a labeled box will help you stay on schedule. List of common items below ⬇️

1. Rings 💍 in a ring box or jewelry dish — or use both to add depth
2. Wedding stationary like invitations, save the dates, program, vow books 📝
3. Accessories like shoes, veil, perfume, cologne, watch ⌚️
4. Florals from your florist if you can get them early will help tie the look together 🌸
5. Additional jewelry worn that day 💎
6. Sentimental items 🤍
7. Ribbons that match your wedding color 🎀

With Lunar New Year coming up, I’ve been thinking back on all the amazing cultural weddings I’ve been a part of. This DIY night market themed wedding remains one of my favorites. You can be sure to find me at the ‘beef noodle soup’ food stall 🍜.

A trend we’re absolutely in love with is mismatched bridesmaids dresses 😍. This is slightly more planned than you think since a color palette is usually decided but it still gives the girls plenty of choices.

Still dreaming about the details from Achint and Crystals wedding. Don’t they look fabulous? Crystal designed everything they wore that day with the help of some friends. If you look up close, you can see zodiac embroidments of her family including Achint’s.
