Some Reminders:

RubberDucky is a bar social; not a club six or circuit party.

Many upcoming Dore, Folsom, and beyond events are amazing in rubber. People get a certain look in their eye when they see the smooth, slick, and shiny there.

Be mindful, take care of yourself, and help those around you.

Powerhouse has only one sit down toilet. Keep it available for those who require it. The smoking patio is quite nice in this weather.

This month we’re doing a shiny tour of some of the SOMA bars. We’ll start and end at Powerhouse as a spot to change with Coat Check open. All l**ed up we’ll slip and slide our way to the Eagle then waddle slowly back to Powerhouse stopping into other bars as we go.

7-8pm - Powerhouse
8-9pm - SF Eagle
9-10pm - Hole in the Wall
10pm-late - Underwear @ Powerhouse

RubberDucky is now the Second Thursday of the month, so it no longer conflicts with Renegades Bar Latex Night on the Fourth Thursday. Looking forward to seeing what those are like, and hope some who've been wanting to make a RubberDucky can now attend as well 🙂.

What is RubberDucky?

There’s something special when you're surrounded in a bar by dozens in rubber. Whether you've never been in rubber, just got your first piece, or are having to throw out your work clothes to be able to fit your ever growing rubber wardrobe, RubberDucky has space for you.

With a long history standing proudly at Folsom and Dore in SOMA, Powerhouse (1347 Folsom St) is a venue with a diverse crowd where people go to be themselves and explore their communities unashamed. Consent can vary in form: a quick cruise, a long chase, a direct ask and an invitation to follow. Always consent is asking permission not forgiveness. A single no means no. Help us make a great space to band together as a community, to be into rubber, to become into rubber, to experiment, and to have fun!

The next two rubber socials are October Nov 10th, and Dec 8th. Typically there’s several dozen in rubber gear along with many rubber curious and friends of the community out of rubber. Powerhouse provides convenient coat check, cheap drinks, and lots of opportunities for fun. Whether you come early for more social or stay late through underwear night for more mischief, it will be great to have you there. It's a slick, shiny, summer rubber party this Folsom! There's both BOUNCY HOUSE as well as RubberDucky Slip & Slide to help ensure the street is well l**ed for all the fun!

Everyone is welcome at both. If you're curious about rubber it's a great place to get your questions answered, even the rubber drones are friendly and often just looking to serve. If you have some rubber it's a great time to get it out and join the ever growing crowd of rubber that floods Powerhouse each month.

There's typically rubber dogs, superheroes, drones, ringmasters, ballerinas, gimps, and more all looking to have a shiny time and find the answers to pressing questions like what's the best rubber storage and how to effectively give scritches through rubber. It's always a great, friendly crowd looking to have fun.
