This was inspired by a classic chinese dish called “Claypot Rice” traditionally this dish is made with white rice & cooked in a claypot for crispy rice at the bottom.

Savory Oats inspired by a chinese congee! Congee or jook is typically make with jasmine rice. Its a hot bowl of thicc warm soup and i love eating it in then morning - especially when its cold. The downside to it is that because jasmine rice is not a complex carb so it made me hungry again much quicker. So thats when i thought to experiment with making congee but with oats. Ive been wanting to incorporate oats into my diet but found it hard to eat overnight oats & im not much of a sweet person in the morning, so this has been the best way for me to eat oats in the morning! Why are oats good for you? 🤔 Oats contain incredible amount of nutrients, great for skin, hair, high in fiber & helps keeps you full much longer. Comment ♥️ if you learned something from this video!
