If you're not already thankful for all the amazing shows we've got at Eclectic Box then this post won't convince you...but, man, we're closing out November like champs! Catch Pedro Gonzalez doing standup on the 20th, the last two shows of Bard Theatre's Henry IV on Friday and Saturday, then swing back in for more standup on Sunday with The Mahatma Moses Comedy Tour, who also has a show on December 14th!

Stand up and be counted, comedians! Eclectic is hosting more and more stand-up. This month, Pedro Gonzalez returns on the 20th for his second tour of The Box followed by Mahatma Moses on the 23rd and another show on December 14th. We're thrilled to have them both bringing laughter and new perspectives to our audiences.

We've got more than we can handle coming up at Eclectic Box! No, just kidding, we're working artists in an expensive city...we can handle anything.
Catch Bard Theatre's Henry IV, running every day this weekend through the 22nd, and Playwrights Foundation's staged reading of Santum Sanctorum on Monday at 8 PM. Later next week is Awesome Theatre's Weirdstock Not-Gala, and more Drunk Theatre stumbling in on Saturday.

My goodness, we love Halloween! Fortunately, so do a lot of the companies that bring their spooky magic to our stage. Thanks to Awesome Theatre, Dreams on the Rocks, and Drunk Theatre for keeping the creepy ambiance cranked up high every Halloween season!

All of us at Eclectic Box are heartbroken over the news that the bodega cat KitKat, also known as the Mayor of 16th Street, has left us. He was a magnificant cat with a ton of personality who strutted up and down the block like he owned the place. Waiting on line to see a movie at the Roxie or popping into the store to grab a snack won't be the same without him.
