I love using a flower in an unexpected way, cymbidium orchids grow on a long stock with 10 blooms or more per stem, here we have cut the stocks into segments and balance them in a round bowl, sometimes anchoring with mokara orchid stems. The lushness and simplicity of the orchids as the focal, I feel makes it so elegant. This is this a chic and long lasting arrangement but it would also be a gorgeous modern Thanksgiving centerpiece in rich Autumn colors or in cool whites for December events.

Our version of the cornucopia celebrating the bounty and beauty of the Northern California harvest. Our Thanksgiving centerpiece designs are now up on our website for pre-order, please reserve early as we get closer to the Holidays I will turn off orders. This non floral beauty is big and statement making with persimmons, apples, pomegranates, artichokes, tomatillos, cabbage, radicchio and so much more. Each arrangement will be different and best available on the day. Let me know if we should offer different sizes or beyond Thanksgiving week for this fun design.

We love making BIG luxurious floral arrangements to celebrate all life’s moments! These late season dahlias are pretty spectacular! Here’s a massive amount of orange dahlias, I think it’s 6 different varieties and a lot of stems- definitely statement making and absolutely luxurious.

We may be easing into Autumn here with this warm weather, but we are actually already working on Holiday designs! I had so much fun yesterday speaking to the fun gals over at the Diablo Women’s Garden Club sharing my Holiday entertaining tips- and they got to preview my new Holiday designs, but everyone else will have to wait for the big reveal!

We only accept a few weddings a year and I’m so glad we said yes to this wonderful couple! I swear I have the nicest clients and this is why I still say yes every once in a while- seriously I meet the best people! We transformed a very industrial style urban venue by layering fresh bay branches and hydrangeas with green amaranth spilling over the dark steel bar. By bringing nature in with locally grown blooms and greens, we warmed up the space and created a dramatic moment in an otherwise forgotten space.
