What began in 2009 as a humble Monday night, Motown and Soul relatives party in San Francisco (Motown On Mondays) has since exploded into a weekly multi-city dance party across the States with family worldwide. MOM DJs & Events is a family of DJs, producers, musicians and music enthusiasts that all share a passion for the convergence of soul music and dancing. We perform at and produce weekly, mo

nthly and special events across North America; including San Francisco, Oakland, Los Angeles, Honolulu, Denver, Chicago, Austin, Brooklyn and beyond. MOM DJs represent the most spirited soul parties with a unique vibration. We gather our musical inspiration from Motown, soul, funk and disco with an emphasis on new and classic remixes/edits. OneMama seeks to empower women, families, and communities around the World to be healthy, educated, and financially successful. Beginning with their pilot program in Uganda, OneMama connects volunteers with the community by providing all participants with a cooperative education. Through OneMama's mutually beneficial approach, members of the community learn about sustainable living and volunteers learn about a new culture, rich in tradition and wonder. OneMama's mission extends far beyond the aim of ordinary philanthropic organizations. They understand that we are all connected.

I've got the guest spot at MOM at tonight, babes!! MOM founder throws down first at 7pm - join me on the dance floor, and then I'll spin some tunes for you starting around 10pm!

When I first moved to the city in 2010, there were a few dark years when I didn't know where to find good music. (I had a bad habit of going to Hotel Utah without knowing who was playing...)
During that time, MOM was the ONLY place where I could always find music I wanted to dance to. It was the only place that made me feel cool and like I knew sh*t about this city I had moved to. I think I might've even had my bday party there in 2012?!

So needless to say, I'm beyond honored to have the chance to give back to the MOM community and will be bringing everything l've got!! 2010 me's jaw is on the floor like...who's that lady?!?
