We packed a lot into Day 2 with Discover Coronado and with all the photos I took, there were still many moments and pictures missed.

Started off the beautiful morning with a breakfast boat ride on the Bay, walked to the Glorietta and Hotel Del Coronado with it's beautiful unique history along the beach and delicious lunch, continued to walk downtown and ended our evening at Lowe's with a team building dinner and gorgeous sunset. 🌅😍

Thank you to all the teams that hosted and special thanks to Danielle from and as well!

Thankful I got to see and experience so much on my first visit to Coronado and hope to bring an Incentive or Retreat there soon!

Excited and honored to be nominated for the Change Maker Award at this year's BAMIES. What a wonderful group of nominees to be a part of!

Thankful that progressing attributes such as mental wellness, inclusive events, and prioritizing community are being more recognized in our industry.

Love this unique space, Four One Nine Venue, in San Francisco with its relaxing ambiance in areas outside the main gathering room.
It was an ideal location for yesterday's full day program with the Hewlett Foundation supporting the arts in the Bay Area and beyond.
Greatly enjoyed being a part of this event and had a wonderful experience working with all involved.
Thanks to BN Events & hope to be back soon!

This year’s L.E.A.P. by PCMA Northern California Chapter in Monterey was a beautiful location at their convention center by the bay taking a deep dive into a variety of important topics such as DEIA, sustainability, and utilizing AI in our meetings & events industry.
Thank you to this year’s committee for putting together a wonderful 2 day program for us all to enjoy!

Breathtaking first visit to Round Pond Estate yesterday in having a guided tasting with charcuterie, experiencing the expansive property and wonderful hospitality by all the staff.

Plenty of space for your next event - big or small - and my tasting buddy was so impressed he joined the wine club!

First of many visits to come, whether private events, members only dinners, or a quick day trip to the tasting room on our own. ☺️

I'm at a loss for words at the conclusion of this year's Annual Conference Experience by MPINCC - Meeting Professionals International Northern California Chapter
From starting off as VP of Education this program year, to ending with Dima Ghawi's impactful shattering of the vases that made me tear up a bit, it's been quite the Experience and ride with my fellow committee peers and board members.

I wish I had two clones to have been able to see all the education I wanted to and take part in all the fun activations that there didn't seem to be enough time for, but I love seeing everyone enjoy themselves and leave with smiles.

We did it!!!

Today, Smart Meeting celebrates the life and legacy of Marin Bright. Her overwhelming force of life made her loss on January 28, 2024, even more devastating to those who knew her.

Marin Bright often told the story of how she launched the meetings and events industry's first lifestyle magazine in 2002, a few months after the devastating attacks on 9/11 and the downturn in the travel industry. Over 22 years, through economic recessions, a global pandemic and personal health issues, as CEO of Bright Business Media, LLC and Smart Meetings, she continued to exemplify the resiliency and grit required to build the Smart Meetings community into the most engaged in the industry by innovating and leading based on delivering value to the industry she loved so much.

Bright has worked in the hospitality industry for more than 40 years—first serving hotels and establishing herself as the top salesperson, then launching nine magazines. Her role in elevating the discussion did not go unnoticed. She has received numerous accolades, including the prestigious WPA Distinction in Leadership Award and two consecutive Folio Top Women in Media Awards as a corporate visionary.

Bright has been honored as a Legend in the Northern California chapter of PCMA’s Bay Area Meetings Industry Excellence Awards and named to Eventex’s list of 100 Most Influential People in the Event Industry.

Two great events last night at the SFUVA and Bay Area Hospitality Alliance meeting at the hosted by Mike Maurer and treated to a VIP industry event by Michael Ciaccia from Cirque du Soleil's Kooza at the Giants' ballpark in San Francisco.

It's been a great last few days with wonderful networking events for our hospitality industry in the Bay Area.

Wednesday evening was the and joint program at The Seminary at Strawberry in Mill Valley.

Serene views over looking the Bay and Golden Gate Bridge with the San Francisco skyline and several indoor and outdoor flexible spaces.

The panel discussion by industry veterans in Streamline, 360 Destinations, Key Events, and Blueprint Studios led by AFR's Kathy Newby was a great talk.
