Somehow, I missed that we had this wedding from 2016 published! I'll be honest, it was so long ago I don't remember much about it, but I do remember getting a panicked call from the mother of the bride. They were already at the church in Oakland and realized they had left the bride's veil in her hotel suite. I don't know how I was able to get from the Fairmont San Francisco to the Greek Orthodox Church of The Ascension Oakland as fast as I did but I was literally putting the veil on the bride seconds before they opened the door for her to walk down the aisle!

Millie was married to her husband for 41 years. And then, he died. It was a sad and rough time for Millie. Her forever love was gone.
That was 25 years ago. But now, at the age of 86, Millie was in a love once again, and she walked down the aisle one more time. She wore a purple wedding dress and held a big bouquet of flowers.
When her granddaughter posted about the wedding on Facebook, it received more than 85,000 likes and more than 5,000 comments.
Says Millie’s granddaughter: “This is a true testament that age is just a number and everyone can find love again.”

I wasn't in town when December 31st happened, so I didn't have a chance to let you all know the December journal is up!

That phrase became a running joke between me, Corinne, and Wayne. When the couple, who live in New York, first reached out in February 2024, they let me know they both had super busy schedules, so I was fully prepared to provide a little extra prodding when things were due.
