Founded in 1992 by enthusiastic dancers with different degrees of experience in Mexican folk dance, their mission is to promote Mexican dance with quality.

It is with a heavy heart that we announce the passing of Amanda Almonte, a founding member of the Ensambles Ballet Folklórico family. Most importantly, our organizations sends our condolences to her family and friends during this difficult time.
Her passion for dance, music and Mexican culture was unmatched and we are grateful for all of her contributions to the arts. She began with Ensambles as a founding member and dancer, but her legacy continued through the decades of guidance to our Ensambles organization. She dreamed big for our organization and helped us share our culture all over the bay area and beyond.
