Posting a pic of our team smiling even though that is very much not the mood at the shop this week. In some ways this pic has me thinking back to happier times. In other ways it roots me in our commitment to exceptional botanicals designed by a talented team of hardworking artists. Nigella is very much so a group of people that care deeply for our community and want to see it thrive. Not revert back to some long gone ideology of a country run by and for white men. We are HELLA q***r. And if you take issue with having your flowers designed by some of the fiercest drag queens around then we sincerely hope you find another shop. We will continue creating our art and celebrating the beauty of the botanical world regardless of who is in office and in defiance of an administration that would rather we do not exist and have equal rights and freedoms. We are sending love and positivity to those feeling the same deep sadness and disappointment. We look forward to brighter and better days that we will strive to create together no matter what.
