Culinary Artistas is a kitchen studio in Ghirardelli Square whose mission is to inspire a positive relationship with food by empowering intuitive cooking. They offer family cooking classes, children's cooking camps, birthday parties, corporate events and more! The family class was a fun experience for our family of three and gave us ideas for simple, healthy and delicious weeknight dinner recipes. Thank you @culinaryartistas for this experience.
🇨🇴 In honor of Latin Heritage Month, we prepared signature Colombian dishes including Lulada, Bandeja Paisa, and Brevas con Arequipe.
👩🍳 The class begins with a cooking demonstration by the staff to review all steps and to provide a prototype of the finished entrée.
🍳We were divided into groups where we cooked collaboratively at our respective work spaces and reconvened at a communal table for a family style meal. The studio has a nicely stocked play area with puzzles, toys, stuffed animals and books, and we had a dance party at the end of the night.
