The word “advent” means the arrival of something, usually referring to the arrival of Jesus.
For this art show the advent comes in the shape of art. We have prepared our main wall with 25 dispersed and delineated squares of various sizes. Each square/rectangle will represent the windows, doors or pockets of a typical advent calendar.

There are 25 participating artists, each artist was randomly given a number between 1 and 25. Number 1, will hang their work on December 1st. Number 2, will hang their work on December 2nd, and each day we will hang one work, with a culmination on December 23, where we will hang 23, 24 and 25. The work will stay hung and appreciated in entirety until January 19th.
