“When life hands you lemons, make ceviche.”
As a little girl, we had a lemon tree in our backyard and my mom would always pick the lemons and make ceviche.

I always remembered the wonderful fruity, citrus smell it was amazing to pick the freshly ripened lemons off the tree.

The tree stayed with the house when we moved back then, but I always loved having a lemon tree so I tried to grow one myself.

Seeing as I didn’t have a green thumb and have killed succulents I was definitely expecting it wouldn’t survive. 😝

This year, quite like my life, all the leaves fell off and I thought “Here we go, I’ve murdered another plant.”
But then, they grew back and these little purple buds started forming.
Im so dumb I thought I infected it with a fungus or something 😆

Come to find out the tree was budding… first stage.
I was told this is sensitive because the buds dont all bloom and can fall off. So I did my best to keep them.

Second stage: Flowering.
All the buds have grown bigger and started flowering little white flowers.
THEY SMELL AMAZZZZING! Like Gardenias.

All the little buds that dont fall off will flower like this and pretty soon the tree will have all of these little white flowers 🥰

Third Stage: inside the center of the flower you can see a small little yellow ball.
THATS THE FRUIT!!!! 🍋 🍋🍋🍋💥💥

Yup! That little tiny dot is the actual lemon and it will grow and grow until the flowers fall off and the tree has beautiful, fresh, gorgeous smelling Eureka lemons….

And yes… we will make ceviche 🥹😉
Just like the old tradition.

Look for our KIMCHI CEVICHE at the Chuseok Festival this weekend IN THE PRESIDIO!
Yup you heard that right.
We will be at the Presidio this Saturday 11-4

Just fyi we are doing the event with an organization throwing the festival. We are not back in the Presidio for good. I have been very silent about not being there anymore.
Last year my truck flooded and while it was preached that vendors can always ask for help, I did not utilize asking for help for the first time until my truck cost $5000 to fix in the winter and I asked for an extension to pay the vendor fees at the end of the week they were due.
My days to sell were Friday and Sunday
It was approved, and when Saturday came I received an email that I hadn’t paid and I was suspended if I showed up Sunday for my shift that I would be told to leave. I reminded them that I was given until the end of the week to pay.
They said their week ended on Friday and I stated that is the work week that our week ends on Sundays. So they said fine I paid on Sunday and thought everything was fine.
The following year I was robbed twice during the holidays and asked for a payment plan to pay the vendor fees so I could catch up and things were super slow.
I came up w a plan and emailed the dates to pay and I get this email that I was suspended before for Paying late and so I am being “suspended”Indefinitely. There were also some discrepancies where my invoice was incorrect & I waited to make payment until it was corrected because I was told once you pay, they don’t refund you. So I would wait for them to be corrected so I wouldn’t overpay & was told I paid late bc of that. I was embarrassed having to struggle. our customers suffered the most not being able to go back and that’s what hurt the most. putting a fake suspension on us was a lie. And I never was suspended. I had too much going on trying to get back to even fight anything or want to stay and continue business. I opened the truck there & We worked so hard it was a horrible experience.
Ive heard of these stories but its unfortunate it really happens.
So we hope to see u for this one!
