Carnaval 2025: Veinte Años with Frank Leto Music

NHCC | Albuquerque Journal Theatre

The National Hispanic Cultural Center will celebrate Veinte Años of Carnaval at the Albuquerque Journal Theatre. Carnaval 2025 will once again showcase Frank Leto and PANdemonium, along with the dancers from Odara Dance Ensemble. This vibrant production takes the audience on a journey to four iconic Carnaval destinations—Brazil, Trinidad, Cuba, and New Orleans—immersing them in the music, dance, costumes, and cultures of each region. This year, attendees will be invited to dance to the lively rhythms of samba, salsa, calypso, and more.

$28 w/ $2 off for children 10 years old and younger, seniors and NHCC members. This is a general admission event.

Announcing Skate, Rock, Roll, Read with the SFUSD Youth Arts Festival!
In partnership with Tiratana Espiritu Productions, this year’s festival features two preliminary events Saturday, February 22 11-2pm and Saturday, March 22 11-2pm, leading up to a free, all-ages finale on Saturday, April 26, 2025. 11-3pm

Join us for three vibrant events showcasing:

Live performances
Interactive, hands-on creative activities
Community-based resources for youth and families
Be part of the action in our outdoor performance space in the heart of Civic Center! Enjoy skateboarding lessons, design custom skate sneakers, and create signature skateboard deck art.

Celebrate SFUSD students as they showcase their artistic talents and passion. We’re proud to partner with local skateboarders, artists, and arts organizations to amplify student voices through the arts and literacy.
