We’ve been enjoying sunshine (finally!) and singing “Everything is Awesome” at Legoland and honestly, everywhere else! Time to rest and recharge before our spring/summer wedding season begins. We’re so excited to kick off 2023! 🌼

Congratulations to on their 29th annual fundraising gala! As their full planners, we helped ready them for a delicious sit-down dinner by at the San Francisco Design Center. Guests were also treated to a handful of dance performances, including a moving piece set to Frank Sinatra’s “My Way.” Three dancers auctioned off cakes in the 4-digit numbers, and several San Francisco and state politicos were in attendance. We look forward to the next one!

Real Wedding Wednesday | Julia + Paras | 11.05.22

No power outage, and no rain could stop the wedding tour de force that was Julia and Paras! Everything about this wedding was community driven, and every guest considered. An Indian-Western wedding, bride Julia wowed with her details, dyeing the dinner napkins herself and coordinating with her future mother-in-law on a napkin ring project made by guests during the pre-wedding Play Day picnic. We loved the groom’s baraat, or groom entrance, the TWO extraordinary ceremony backdrops by and the well-curated whiskey-only lounge. Congratulations you two!

ALEX + ELI {09.03.22}

One word for Alex and Eli: CHILL. These two were one of the most relaxed couples we've ever worked with! Already legally married, these two wanted to party, choosing after an extensive venue search last year led by us. There were SO many highlights on this one: an official logo--a hand-drawn illustration of their beloved pooch Millie--; Alex changing from her dress into 3 (yes, 3!) other dresses, ending in matching Nikes with her new husband. Special touches like hand-poured candles made by Alex and Eli (their pandemic project/company!) and custom kid boxes (made by us), made the whole event feel special and considered. Besides graphic design, bride Maya dances for fun, so she decided to add a dance routine to her wedding day. Flanked by her dance troupe, she performed in the most amazing beaded bustier + blazer combo🤩 Groom Ian was grinning from ear to ear and the crowd went NUTS!! Easily a Top 10 moment in our 14 years!

Bought this contage ornament tree earlier this afternoon for tonight’s party, and it’s holding court almost as a shrine to remember SEVENTEEN EVENTS IN ONE SEASON.

That’s an all-time record for us in 12 years. It was a lot, but it’s all done.

Tonight, we get to celebrate us.

Shout out to our whole crew this season: Lorraine, Nicky, Monique, Monelle, Claire, Cala, Tow, Michelle, and Jo—the badassery of you all was, and is, a sight to behold. 🙏🏽
