It is with an incredibly sad heart that we let our community know of the sudden passing of our dear friend and past DJ & Music Curator, .beats 🙏🏼😭🫶🏽💜

Rey was a proud father, compassionate son, and friend full of life and wit, and lost his life on February 2, 2024, at the age of 39.

Rey radiated unparalleled kindness and positivity that was contagious. He was a genuine person that touched the hearts (and playlists) of everyone he encountered, including our entire UNDISCOVERED SF community, especially thru the electrifying programming he managed at our Flower Lounge.

These traits have manifested in his beautiful children, Ligaya, Lualhati and Harinaldo--- who miss and love him, dearly.

If you can, please donate to the family's Go Fund Me page (link in bio) to help with unexpected funeral costs.

We are sending all our love to Rey's entire family and those who were closest to him.

Happy New Year to you all! 2023 was quite the year for the team as we experienced a ton of challenges as a small business, but also celebrated a lot of success and growth. In 2024 we're embarking on some potential HUGE plans and we want to get some feedback/insights into where our community is at, because we couldn’t do what we do WITHOUT ALL OF YOU! 🫶🏽

This year we’re finally making moves towards what one of our biggest goals has always been for MIM —✨️ to own and operate our own EVENT SPACE/VENUE in San Francisco✨️,  designed and curated BY San Francisco Bay Area creatives. So we’re making moves to make it happen.
