Lavash Restaurant COVID-19 Response & Support

Dear Lavash Family,

As you may know, we have temporarily reduced our services to delivery and pickup orders only in response to COVID-19. We believe this is our best effort to be socially responsible, to support as many of our employees as possible, and to maintain our ability to remain open in the future.

During this time of uncertainty, many of you have shown support to us in various ways. Whether you have placed a to-go order with us, made a donation to our GoFundMe campaign, purchased a gift card from our website, or if you’ve told a friend about us, you have helped us tremendously and encourage us to continue looking forward to brighter days ahead.

We are truly overwhelmed by your generosity and are so fortunate to have such a loyal following that is not only thoughtful but also compassionate and empathetic.

Dear Lavash Family, as you may know, we re-opened our doors just three months ago after a two year closure due to a fire. It was a long journey to reopen and we were so excited to do so.

The fire that took place two years ago set us back substantially. As a family-owned and operated business, we’ve never had any financial backing. We took on most of the repair costs in which we only recently were able to start paying once our doors reopened.

Now we have to close our doors again but hopefully for a much shorter time.

Since the shelter in place order was issued to prevent further devastation from the COVID-19 pandemic, we have limited our services. We feel that reducing our services is our best effort to be socially responsible, as well as our best effort to continue to support as many of our employees as possible, and to hopefully remain open in the future.

Lavash is so fortunate to have such an amazing team of employees and such a loyal following. If you’ve dined with us, you know that what we strive to serve is not just delicious Persian food, but an experience. When you dine with us, you are our family. We cannot exist without our employees nor can we exist without you.

Your donation will be an impactful investment in the future of our restaurant and our employees that will allow us to can continue to do what we love to do for our wonderful San Francisco community. Your donation will go to staff assistance, purveyors and reopening expenses. We appreciate all the support you can provide. Regardless of how many donations we may receive, it will always be our mission to keep our doors open for you!

Dear Lavash Family,

As you know, we are facing a critical moment in the world. We do not take the health and safety of our beloved customers and employees lightly and believe that we are doing our best to prevent the spread of COVID-19.

Our doors for for dine-in customers will be closed until further notice in response to the rapidly evolving conditions surrounding COVID-19.

Fortunately, we have the ability to fulfill pick-up orders and deliveries via Postmates and GrubHub. Orders will be available Tuesday-Sunday from 12PM-close.

Please call ahead to place your order digitally as customers will not be able to order in person.

We will continue to monitor developments on COVD-19 and reopen our doors as soon as we feel it is safe to as we sincerely look forward to serving you again soon.

To Our Lavash Family,

As Coronavirus has quickly evolved, we’ve done all that we can to support the health and safety of our customers, employees, and local communities. We know that you are very concerned, too, and we understand that you may not be joining us for lunch or dinner in the coming weeks (although our doors will remain open until further notice).
Many of you have asked how you can continue supporting us through this time. We appreciate this very much and we would love to continue feeding and nourishing you in the comfort of your own space so pick-up orders will be available via our website/phone and food delivery via Postmates and GrubHub will be available. We’ve also made gift cards available for purchase online. Pick-up and delivery will be available for both lunch and dinner Tuesday through Sunday starting at 12:00pm while our hours for dine-in customers will remain the same.

Although this time will be challenging for all of us, we are confident in the strength of this community and know we can get through this together.
